I chuckled. "Not nervous are you?" I kissed her cheek and grabbed her hand. we walked into the restrant and they sat us in a booth. There weren't a lot of people there, so we were sort of secluded. I was glad about that. I wanted to be alone with her.
Lilli smiled and sat down. The waitress instantly came up, asking what they would like to drink. "I'll have a vanilla coke." Lilli smiled, looking back and Andrew.
The waitress looked at me and I sighed, dragging my eyes from Lilli. "Docter Pepper." I said breifly, before going back and staring into her gorgeous enchanting eyes. "Tell me about you." I said.
"My family left me and my brother to fend for ourselves when I was seven and he was four. I discovered what my power was when my brother and I got lost in the woods one day. A pack of wolves caught our scent and chased us throughout the woods. Something inside me clicked and I transformed into a wolf right in front of my brother. I fought the wolves off as my brother ran away.
"After the fight I was badly injured. An elderly lady found me, took me in and treated my wounds. She was a Ulf like myself and told me everything about it. When I was ten I was in a very populated city, near the old lay's cabin, and I stole a few loaves of bread from a bakery. The old lady was very sick and hungry. A cop chased me down and eventually caught me and sent me here. So how about yourself?" She smiled, soon realizing that their drinks were already on the table.
"Compared to you, my story's not so bad. My dad was a rider. They tried to get a dragon to pick me for so long. Finally, one did. My dad was so proud. I loved...love my dragon. We spend a lot of time together. I flunked out of every private school in the whole country, so dad thought the discipline of this school would be good for me." I shrugged. "Not tbat impressive."
"It's better than mine. I could hardly speak fluently till I was twelve. Most of my talk was in barks and caveman speak," she laughed lightly. "I was hopeless till I came here. Now I'm second highest kid here...next to my senior that is." She sn\miled.
I laughed. "Knight helped me. he showed me how to control my power. He taught me how to ride him.But he also showed me what it was like to have a friend."
