Danny was alone now. The others had been shot while in the friendly postion. He was the only survior of the skirmish. Danny ran down a long street at full sprint and came to a stop at the corner of the last building. "its the bridge. Oh thank god". He check his ammuntion. 16 rounds remained in his last clip. He also had a M203 surprise left but he wanted to save that. Danny ran for the concrete barrier that had the most friendlys at it hoping a CO would be there.

James scoped out the area with a sniper rifle as they wait out on the top of a tower. The enemys were patrolling the area, looking for intruders....they did a great job!
" Dickerson, you in position overlooking the command building." James whispered into his Com.
" Yes sir. Ive got my sights on the commander right now. Permission to fire?"
" Not yet, Wait for my go."
James then pulled out a large set of goggles and a Laptop. He plugged the goggles into the Laptop and got instant cornite settings for a bomb run. A circle came into my sight and I looked at building nearest to the oil feild
" Charlie, You ready on those mortars?" James said and he pulled out a rappel rope.
" We got conformation that there on standby."
" Set them on the coornites I setted for them and let them rain hell."
James quickly putted the laptop and goggles into his laptop.
" 10 seconds until mortar strike." Charlie Warned.
" Dickerson! Shoot out the commander!" James yelled into his link and I setted the rapple line into the tower and looked down. The building was right below him. James then heard a shot. James quickly jumped off the tower and rappeled down onto the ground. He ran five feet before Charlie announced" Mortar strike commencing."
James then flung himself into a building and watched the enemy come out with their weapons ready. Then a huge colorful cloud ingulfed all of them.
James was thrown to the wall by the shockwave and laughed out loud.
" YES BABY! We have the oil wells intact! Get the army in here before the enemy get's their brains back in place!"

Ben

Ben tensed before the soldier could answer, grip tightening on his sub-machine gun as he spun to face what he was certain would be a Russian.

He let out a relieved sigh on seeing he was just another American, then straightened a little, calling out to his commander, "Sir, there's another one here!" He looked back at the American, "Who are you, and where is the rest of your squad?"

Arick cautiously stood up from behind the barricade. That Russian scouting party was retreating but he was sure that they would have some of theirs covering their escape. A sniper or two.

"Well, well, it looks like a party," the Austrialian commander stepped up to Arick.

"Yeah, bastards took out my engineer, my sniper, and my coms man," Arick replied shouldering his rifle.

"I'm Ben. You are?"

"Sergeant Major Arick Gales. Our Army's camp is this way at the abandoned oil refinery. I'll fill you in on the Op we have planned. We brought some scientists along as well, can't fight but really smart in the head. Come on. Are you the only one's they sent?" Arick signaled for the rest of the group to follow.

They trudged through the rubble of what was left of the small town left behind by the "Oil Boom." Pretty soon they had a glimpse of the looming refinery.

"So the plan is to assault their airbase and take out their air support in this region. We have one hundred troops, thirteen tanks, five attack helicopters, and two Covert Ops teams to do it. It's fortified, heavily guarded, and there is the possibility that they will use nukes," Arick explained.

They arrived at the entrance to the refinery. The rusted doors loomed over the group. They were old cargo doors that, in the past, were used to bring the oil from the refinery into the world.

"Hey, let us in!" Arick called up to the watch.
"Gimme your identification!" the watch called back.
"Dammit, Beckett, you know it's me, let us in!"
"Fine, fine, it's your ass that's gonna be in a sling if you get brought up on protocol!" Beckett yelled. The doors swung open.

"Come on in, Command will explain the what the scientists are doing and what our jobs in this Op will be."

His squad followed them into the compound, the troop commander mercifully giving his more experienced sergeant the chance to talk things through with the American. No doubt the commander would come in later with some alteration to tactics, but Ben would cross that bridge when he came to it. Ben stopped, his eyes narrowing as he thought for a moment, "Their nukes will be at their airbase."

The American nodded, "Of course, why?"

"Has Command taken into account the possibility of the nukes going off if we botch the assault?"

"You'll have to ask them that."

They'd reached the doors to what passed for a situation room in the refinery, a soldier swinging one open to let them pass. The scientists and officers were already there, a map of the area projected onto the wall opposite them. The ranking officer nodded to Ben and the troop commander, "Troop Commander Oliver Kelly and Troop Sergeant Ben Jacobs, Australian SAS, I assume?"

Ben nodded, "That's right, sir."

"The operation has already been outlined to you?"

Ben's commander cleared his throat, "Yes, sir, although we have some concerns with the mission: an assault on a storage facility for nuclear weapons as a part of an airfield seems more dangerous than it's worth. I understand that we can't air strike a nuclear weapons dump, but there has to be some other way."

"As of right now, we are looking into providing you with extra intel once our scouts return," the General said. "But where are my manners? My name is General Marshall Folger. I will be commanding this Op."

"Why are they storing nukes in an airfield?" Arick asked, looking over his briefing.

"Well, we believe they on moving them by plane to another location. That's another why we are assaulting this particular airfield. To obtain the nuclear devices, if possible. The scientist here with the most computer intelligence currently is Lacy Peters. She'll be able to walk you through the disarming sequence," the General continued.

The troop commander nodded, "Seems plausible enough, though we'll have to act as soon as possible, that location could be here, after all."

Ben frowned, "Although I hope we've got some way of assaulting the airfield with minimum possible casualties - and that's not going to be a simple task. If they've got nukes there, the place will be crawling with security, I'm guessing infantry, tanks. Probably patrolling aircraft as well. Disarming them is all very well, but we need to get to them first."

The general nodded, "We've considered that, of course. We were thinking of a single covert team, arriving dressed as mercenaries or Russians to avoid detection. That way the nukes could be disarmed and parts of the base sabotaged before we attempted a full assault."

Danny:

Danny had never been in a mission breifing before. He had signed up and his sergent had allways told him where to go and what to do when he got there. There was going to be an attack and it could turn the tides of the battles here, that was all danny picked up on before the meeting came to a close.

Danny exited the room and made his way to the stockpile staion and loaded up on M203 grenades and ammunition for his rifle. He had seen that movie Black Hawk Down and he did not want to be out of ammo before the convoy arrived!
