Silent Faith

One body is all we get
from the first moment
we are falling,
weak and wet.
Life is an ungodly thing -
so much negative energy
would destroy one god
as it will destroy our species,
one bullet
one cry
one stab in the dark.
A lie about your friend.
No more is life meant to be
a beautiful thing.
If the supernatural avoid us,
what have we become?
A never-ending circle
of life hating life,
killing, lying, cursing,
shooting, destroying,
mutilating
without regard.
But we are
what we are,
how can we
not be?
Life is a circle…
One beautiful circle…
So unrelentless.
Make it stop!
Positive energy
Claws at the very root of my heart
and cries,
‘Why can you not feel me?,
Should I fight it?
Ignore it?
Hear it?
Oh that this life
is the one I'm living!
How could I have
chosen this?
My mind is disconnected
from my soul
and I do not feel strong.
An orb of light will dawn
when the time is right,
and I will believe again,
to give me faith in my breath,
in the powers of this -
our universe.
And I wait eagerly for that day
to rise upon me.
Until then
I sit with my head bowed,
and the thoughts of this world
hanging onto every second
that I have been blessed
to be living.

Hi there. I'll just review some gramar points.

'Why do you not feel me?,

Never put a comma after a question mark. Although, that might have been a typo.

There seemed to be a distinct tone at the beginning of the poem, but then there were a lot of little words that sort of got in the way of all that, like above. The little connecting words, like "so much" and "would" and "as it will". Give them a second look and see if you really need them each time to communicate what you're saying as strongly as possible, or if they're just being used to complete a phrase.

one bullet
one cry
one stab in the dark.
A lie about your friend.

The -ing words had a nice rhythm to them, but preceding them, it started to sound rather preachy. Over and over, people have harped on these topics and they haven't progressed. How can you progress them rather than just be another voice?

My mind is disconnected
from my soul
and I do not feel strong.

These words don't mean as much as they could. They're just kind of there, relating what the narrator is feeling, but I can't bring myself to feel the same. This feeling continues throughout the poem, and as such, I can't really connect to it enough to listen.

*Sighs due to silly internet and rewrites critique*

hey there

I think this needs stanzas, and maybe a few lines lengthened. I ended up reading it in a big paragraph, so many small lines put together make it very hard to keep up.

I like the way that you've written this like a chain of thoughts, you've pulled it off nicely.
'Positive energy / Claws at the very root of my heart / and cries, / ‘Why can you not feel me?' - I also really like the way you've personified positive energy, that's very cool.

Nice work, keep it up :)
Stanzas, stanzas!

Hey! :D This is such a great poem; heavy, but interesting, captivating and unique.
One nitpick: "is the one im living!"
Should be "I'm."
That's it!
