    First and foremost, this is Christy. Or Christytwist, or Tim, or Maria, or Lyn-Ker, or a variety of other things. I am currently fifteen and working desperately and exasperatedly on a novel I started in November of 2005 with characters that have existed since 2003.

    I started writing somewhere around 5th grade and have accepted the favoritism of English teachers herein after. Seriously, I tried to write badly (but grammatically correctly) and I still got 100% on a story. And incorrect spelling words were simply dismissed.

    I am off to critque in order to post my own work. Look out for it, yo. I love the comments. (Duh, there wouldn't be much point in being her otherwise, now would there?)

English teachers are so silly. :roll:

So what genres do you like to write? What type of music do you like to listen to?

Wow, your teachers sound like the one I have this semester. I don't think she even reads them, but gives them an A if they fit her length requirement.

    Thanks for the welcome guys!

    I don't think my English teacher last year cared about content as long as the writing was grammatically correct and long enough. Ridiculous.

    I've posted the first chapter of my story in the action section [relay, ch. 1] if anyone cares to take a gander.

    Kiera, I mostly stick to forms of action with little twists of futurism. And a little bit of dabbling in post-apocalyptal and random high school mainstream stuff. Mostly action though.

    And I'm a Fall Out Boy addict, and pretty obsessed with The Fray, Incubus, and musicals such as Sweeney Todd, Rent, and Nightmare Before Christmas. Good stuff.
