The Wish list

This book was FANTASTIC!
I couldn't put it down.
It's about a girl that is too good for hell and too bad for heaven.
She has tio fix her life by doing everything this old man wants before he dies.
ITS GREAT.
It's extremely funny, touching, and entertaining.
I recommend you read this book...

This is the one where they have to do all the really random stuff, like kissing some woman from RTE and spitting over the Cliffs of Moher right? Yes, I really liked it. The main character, I think her name is Meg, is an absolute treat, and you've got to love St. Peter and Beezlebub... if you've ever read anything by Eoin Colfer you'll like it. It isn't as complicated as Artemis Fowl, and it's sweet and sad, but the style still has that kind of priceless, dark humour about it.

I read it ages ago, but I still remember two of the four tasks...

Pretty much (as far as I can remember), she dies, but just before she dies and finishes a life of crime, she goes out of her way to save an old man's life. The devil wants her, because she has "style" and heaven wants her because, well, they're heaven. Anyway, while she's in limbo, she's given the chance to go back and help this old man... and he has a Wish List. *wikipedias*... ah, this is such an Irish book too. The list takes them the length and breadth of the country. It's a really lovely story, and very funny as well. I recommend it .

I guess I did like it, but I was disappointed after the masterpiece that is Artemis Fowl.

I really liked this one. We (mom, sister & me) listened to it in the car on a drive to Boston and it was so funny. I don't think I would have liked it nearly as much without the voices, though. I'm not a big fan of Artemis Fowl so I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I really did.

(I love wot's-his-face's line: "time's tickin' on, ticky, ticky, ticky!" I still say it to my sister when she's taking too long to get ready.)
