Wait, two more questions: The time period is more medieval, right? No technology, guns, etcetera?

And will we start out in the cages, or will we be able to post our own captures?

Shin-

She raced along the road trying to escape a captering gard. This is bad! she thought to her self as she ran. She had no special strenght so she was running on empty as she ran for the whole day and a falf. Then Wack! She was finally wacked up side the head as she tryed to strugle out of the mans grasp.

"Time for you to meet the cage."he wispered to Shin as she faided for conciousness....

Leona~

I was just locking up the store when I felt strong hands pull me backwards and beating me. There were 2 guards. Mom had warned me that these jerks were lurking about just waiting to take unsuspecting humans and any creature with magic for that scum Demos. I struggled against their grasp. I snapped at the one who pulled me into his arms, trying to restrain me.
"There will be none of that, bloodsucker." I snarled and he roughly tied my mouth up with a thick piece of cloth. Then my head was slammed against the wall. I fought for consciousness but soon all went black.

**Vampy_Girl, TN just pointed this out to me. Jaskar is six years older than Leona, so it'd be a little weird for then to get together. Perhaps you could change her age...? Sorry, It'd just be kinda awkward.** **Also, I apoligize in advance for my long post.**

Jaskar-

It was nearing midnight. The crescent moon dangled in the sky, glowing silver with radiance. Twinkling stars dance merrily across the black sky, blinking in and out of existence. Constellations shone strong and true with even the beautiful and rare Gold Maiden visible.

I had already almost been caught once this night. Someone had tipped the local guards to my latest mission, though who it had been I had no idea. Only a few select people even knew I existed at all. But nevertheless, they had found me and forced me to flee by means of magic, weakening me even more than I already was.

Now I would have to return to my master and report my first failure in a long time. I hoped he would be in a good mood when I got there.

Slinking along low to the ground, keeping to the darkest shadows, I made my way through the silent city. My bare feet, wrapped in fine silk, made no noise on the crudely cobbled street. My daggers were all tied securely to my belt so they would not make a sound as I walked.

Something moved to my right. I stopped and turned, focusing my eyes on the figure that stepped silently from the shadows of a dark doorway, a hood pulled low over the face. Clad in robes as black as the sky above and the shadows behind, it wasn't a mystery why even my trained eyes had not been able to see it.

The figure let out a low chuckle. "Thought you could get away that easily, Jaskar? Have you learned nothing in the last four years? I would've expected better from you."

"Morjet," I growled. "I could've guessed it'd be you to tell the guards of my location. Where are all your little toys, though? Surely it can't just be you, for if it was this would just be too easy."

"Oh, they're here," he said, gesturing around. From out of the surrounding doorways stepped seven men clad in silver garments. Each held a longsword, gleaming in the moonlight. All were knights.

"You know, Morjet, I would've never thought you, of all people, could be bribed into service by that bastard Demos. I had thought you were too stubborn for that. Seems you proved me wrong."

"That wouldn't be the first time you were wrong," he sneered. "Now, enough idle chit-chat. There's a high price on your head, Jaskar. Will you come peacefully, or will I have to resort to force? It's your choice."

"When have you ever known me to be peaceful, Morjet?" I asked casually, flicking out one of my daggers. "I'd like to see you try to force me anywhere. See how far you can get."

"Very well then, Jaskar. I will honor your choice. You four," he motioned to the knights to his right, "take him alive."

One by one they stepped forward, swords held firmly. With a jerk of my wrist, I sent the dagger hurtling for the first. It struck the air a foot in front of him with a dull ringing sound before dropping to the ground. I cursed, remembering that Morjet was a mage. I pulled out my small short-sword, bringing to mind the spell for teleportation. It would be a close call because of how much magic I had already used today, but it was one of my only chances.

But before I could do anything, I felt cool hands placed on either side of my head. Soft words were murmured in my ear in the language of magic. The world went black and I felt myself falling...

The last words I heard were, "We've made a good bit of profit tonight..."

Shiro-

The guards, he didn't want to hurt anyone. But they were really pissing him off. As his sword met with one of thiers. Another guard had a little girl in his arms.

She was screaming. "Let her go!" Shiro commanded.

the men smiled. Shiro already knew what the deal was, with out it being told to him. He stopped fighting and allowed them to take him away.

Perhaps they would kill him and set him free.

Selen---

Selen looked around the small town. SHe pulled the hood farther down over her face and walked into it. Her long cloak covering her. Her wings itched to come out, but she didn't dare let them out. She walked around a corner and two strong arm grabbed her picking her up, and tosing her back against the ground. She landed with a thud.

"This is the one we've been looking for." A voice said. She felt herself being lifted up but her body wouldn't respond. SHe couldn't move. She tried to pull free, tried to let her wings out, but she could barely bat an eye let alone fly.

Jaskar-

"Get up."

I groaned and tried to roll over. A kick in the stomach was my reward.

"Get up, Jaskar."

I muttered a small string of curses under my breath and opened my eyes. From what I could see, I was laying on my back in a cage-like structure in a room that was almost definitely underground. There were other cages, with other prisoners. Most were unconscious.

Morjet stood above me, his face twisted into a sneer. He kicked me again.

"Get up, Jaskar."

I lay there a moment longer, regaining my breath, before jumping into a crouch, spinning around, one leg held outwards. I struck Morjet at the back of his legs, sending him crashing to the ground. I was on him in a moment, grabbing his wrists with one hand and shoving a bundle of cloth from his own robes in his mouth.

"Looks like I wasn't the only one who learned nothing in the past four years," I said with a grim smile. "Really, you must be stupider than I imagined to leave me unbound. And no gag, either? You're losing your touch, Morjet."

He snarled through the cloth.

"If I really wanted, I could teleport out of here right now. It'd be easy."

He stopped struggling, watching me with an expression of fascination mixed with hidden amusement. Like he knew something I didn't.

I was undaunted. I began to murmur the words that would take me from this room to somewhere safer, my eyes closing in the process.

I finished the spell and waited to be taken away by the magic. Nothing happened. Frowning, I opened my eyes and looked down at Morjet who was watching me expectantly.

Then the pain burst through my body. I bit my lip to keep from screaming and rolled off him, curling into a pitiful ball on the floor of the cell. Morjet pulled the gag from his mouth and stood, folding his hands in his robes.

"You see, that's the secret of the dungeons. Anyone who attempts any magic here will be tortured mind and body for as long as the dungeon sees fit. It's almost as if it has a mind of it's own. There's no telling how long it'll last for you, though it has been known to keep it's victims in agony for days without stopping."

He chuckled darkly and stepped out of the cage, shutting the door with a loud bang and locking it with a silver key before pocketing it again.

"Have a good day," he said, chuckling again. "And remember, you're in the Dungeon of Demos now. There is no escape." Then he turned and left without another word, leaving me alone. I closed my eyes against the pain, willing it away. After a while, it slowly began to recede until it was only a dull ache in the center of my chest. I breathed a sigh of relief and pulled myself into a sitting position, leaning my back against one of the bars that made up the cage, mourning the loss of my weapons that had been taken while I was unconscious. What I would give to have those with me now...

The only thing I could do was wait and try to think of an escape plan. And so I did.

Not that it did much good.

I awoke in what looked like a small metal cage. My head was throbbing and It hurt to move very much. I saw where I had been cut, it was almost gone now though. My veins were burning, I needed blood. I looked around to see other cages like mine. The one next to me had the human I'd been following, Jaskar. A man was in the cage with him. Jaskar was withering in pain as the man locked the cell. I couldn't hear their conversation because of the throbbing. When the man left I scooted over to the farthest wall that was next to Jaskar's; my veins screaming.
"Are you okay?" I whispered. He opened his eyes and looked at me.
