Ok me and Hunter were talking one night and he was sad so I said this and he said I should post it so here we are.

I will not allow anyone to go through
The depression I've dealt with
My entire life

This smile I wore
Was merely a mask.
Now it is permanent--
And my old face
Is just a mask.

For every second
I held this pain in,
I have beared it.

And now you know
My motive.
The thing that drives me
To help those I love.

lol, actually it srated out as just something he said--no real poetry, just his words! Very odd, and I thought they sounded poetic!

I did like this. It was kind of freewrite and not very poetic, but the emotion made up for it. Very pretty. I think we all have a mask we wear that hides what is really going on inside.
