Alice, Bella and friends.

Alice

"My folks aren't coming home until around midnight!" I said, "Its only four!"

He sighed and came along.

"What if we get lo-"

I shoved my hand over his mouth, "you'll be the one to blame then."

"Why?" he kissed my hand.

"You jinxed us!"


Random

Turns out they were only going to discharge Bella. The doctor never discharged me.

"We need to do more X-rays."

"You did a full body X-ray!"

"Your mother wants them."

I grumbled.

Bella

After changing clothes and talking to both my parents and Random's parents, I walked in and sat on the bed beside him.

"I thought you were going home," he said, touching my cheek lightly.

"I'm staying with you. Your mom said she'd drive me home."

"My mom is being RIDICULOUS!" he said loudly, hoping she'd hear him.

"Your mom cares!" she replied, smiling at both of us.


Ronan

Alice dragged me through the woods, pointing at different trees and flowers the whole way.

She looked so beautiful out there.

Alice

I hadn't been hiking in weeks, I missed it! Eventually I stumbled and had to let go of Ronan's hand to steady myself, and I didn't regrab it. I was still charging foward.

"Alice!" Ronan called. I turned around and batted my eyelashes at him.

"Come on, keep up!"

"Its really hard when you're running through the woods. Geeze woman, how can you run through the woods when you can't even walk a block without falling?"

"This is my home?" I asked, this time I grabbed his hand so he wouldn't fall behind.


Random

"I'd feel it if I had any broken bones."

"Just for the sake of me not having to worry please?" mom asked again.

"Fine. But you owe me a Big Mac now."

"Understood."

Ronan

"D'you even know where we're going" I asked as she dragged me along. I dug my feet into the ground, stopping her.

"Yes!" she said firmly. I wasn't listening. "Ronan, come on!" she whined.

"Look," I said, pointing over at a small building covered in vines.

"It looks abandoned," Alice muttered.

"Come on!" I exclaimed, grabbing her hand and dragging her this time.


Bella

"How's your leg feel?" I asked after they had finished x-raying him. We were just waiting for the results now, and then we could go.

"Fine. A litte sore, but fine."

"I'm sorry I crashed," I said softly.

"Don't be," Random kissed me firmly on the mouth. "It could have happened to anyone with the way the roads were."

Alice

I wasn't really interested in the building, I was a little scared of it actually. It gave off a bad vibe. Like a haunted house would. But Ronan was overly excited by it, so I went inside.

"This place gives me the creeps," I muttered.

"Me too, but it's cool. Wanna check out the basement?"

I didn't really want to, common sense urged me not to, but I agreed anyways.


Random

"And besides, what's life without a broken bone every other year?"

She giggled.

"The results are in." The doctor announced, "there's nothing else broken but what we've already mended."

"Good so I can go?"

"YEs."

"Thank God!"

Ronan

I held the door to the small building open for Alice. It shut behind me, but I wasn't paying attention.

"It looks like a little house," she muttered, nodding toward the dust covered furniture.

"Come on," I said, taking her hand and pulling her toward a set of stairs that led down.


Bella

Random's mom stopped at McDonalds on her way back to my house, getting me a choclate shake and him a Big Mac. I took Random's fries, eating them happily.

"Hey!" he said, taking a few back. I bit his hand playfully. He laughed.

Alice

I held on tightly to Ronan's hand.

This place was WAY too creepy for me.

"Can we go now Ronan?"

"Just a couple more minutes, theres something interesting down here, I can feel it."


Random

I kissed her nose, and stole a couple more of my french fries back.

"You two kids behave," mom ordered.

"Yes mom." we said in dreary tandem.

Bella

When we got to my house, I snuck a quick kiss from Random and went inside.

"Home!" I shouted.

"Hey," My mom said, popping her head around the corner. "Is Random all right?"

"Yup, he's fine apart from his leg."

"That's good," she said, drifting back into the kitchen.

"CALL ALICE!" my dad's voice came from somewhere on theo ther end of the house. I chuckled, grabbing the phone and balancing it on my cast while I opened my bedroom door.


Ronan

I opened the door to the basement, peeking my head inside.

"There must be a window in here somewhere, look how light it is," I said, leetting Alice in.

Alice

I could feel my hands shaking, I had never been this afraid before.

Ronan's hands tightened around mine, "it'll be okay, theres nothing to fear."

"Easy for you to say."

He chuckled and kissed me.

"So where are the windows?" I asked.

There weren't any around.


Random

Crutches sucked.

I clicked on my computer and signed on to the young writers society. Bella was on. I messaged her.

Marius: Hey, long time no see.
Bella: ya.
Marius: Whatcha been up to?
Bella: Got in a carcrash with the bf.
Marius: wow...when?
Bella: Couple days ago.

Bella

Marius: Oh, that's horrible. Hows your arm?

I stopped, rereading this.

Bella: what do you mean?
Marius: Well, you're responding rather slowly, and the last thing we'd want hurt on a writer is their arm. How's yours?

I chuckled, Silly me, thinking Marius might be someone I knew.

Bella: Well, my writing arm is broken, but I think I'll survive.


Ronan

"Around here," I decided, pulling her back behind the stairs. There were, in fact, three windows on that wall, in a row. "See?"

"Yeah...can we go now?" she asked, looking around nervously.

"Sure, come on," I took her hand, leading her up the stairs to the front door. I turned the handle.

"Why aren't you opening it?" she asked nervously.

"I ...um..." I stammered.

Alice

"Its not locked is it?" I asked, uncomfortable with the whole thing.

"Yeah."

"We're screwed."

"We are not."

I was trembling again, fear was setting in so was the chill of the air.


Random

Marius: Good. We wouldn't want you diing now would we?

Bella: I guess now.

Marius: How's your boyfriend?

Bella: His leg is broken.

Marius: That sucks.

"Well i feel uselful." I muttered looking around for something to hammer my way through.

Alice squeezed my hand tighter as if she could feel a riff in the air of 'scariness' and it was getting more intess.

"Its going to be ok, i promise." I smiled and kissed her cheek playfully. That brought a grin to her lips, but just as soon the grin was gone when she looked at the stairs and what was coming down it.

Bella

Bella: Yeah, it does.
Marius: you should totally go see him
Bella: But...I just got home from seeing him?
Marius: I bet he misses you already.
Bella: I'm sure he does. Hmm...
Marius: what?


Bella ignored him for a moment, grabbing the phone and dialing Random's number. It rang.


Marius: Oh, dang, my phones ringing! Where the hell did I put that thing?!


Bella sniggered, hanging up.


Marius: Ha, it stopped. Hope it wasn't important.
Bella: Who could it have been?
Marius: My girlfriend
Bella: You have a girlfriend?

* since Alice cant come up with anything to post, ill put in a little something to help her out. *

"Nate? Is that really you? The one who made the YWS website? What are you doing all the way up here?" Said Alice in awe.

Ronan

I held Alice close, kissing her face lightly and reassuring her we would be fine. I could feel her shaking against my chest.

"Maybe there's a back way?" she suggested softly. I nodded, leading her through the house by her hand.

There wasn't a back way.

All the windows were too high to get to.

We were, in every sense of the word, stuck.
