Caleb:

I was anxious to get away. I normally loved the wide open outdoors, just not with a lot of snotty nosed city brats. I sighed. I knew it was out of the question for me to stay behind, but I almost wished I could. I saddled my horse, WindDancer was his registered name, but I called him Magic. I saddled Magic and jumped on his back, spurring him on, the edges of my shirt flying behind me as I urged him to go faster. Like most cowboys, I had raised the stallion since he was a colt. He trusted me, and I him. we raced against none other than the wind itself!

"You didn't have a proper teacher if they told you to where sandals now." Jude smiled, at this point he was just messing with her.

"Jude, you?"

The girl gave an incredibly flirtatous smile and hopped down off Megan to meet with him face to face, "Alecia."

"So, Alecia, why is it you are going on a summer camp riding trip instead of running one? With all your experience, I mean." Jude kind of turned his smile up. He really did take her for a city girl, wasn't really sure she had really ever been on a horse. Around in the country they didn't dress to impress unless they were going to the city or the local waffle house. Especially not in this hot weather.

Jude patted Tux's neck as the horse gazed at Alecia as if sizing her up, waiting for a proper answer.

(I think I missed a tad, if they've already left let me know and I'll fix this)

Elizabeth

She swung herself quite easily onto Tristian's back, she missed the feel of being on a horse. "Doing okay there?" one of the workers asked, probably confused about the semi dazed look on her face.

"It's been two years since I've been on a horse, it's..."

He smiled, "I know the feeling."
I just lost the game.

Alicia

"Me run a summer camp? Do you really think anyone would take me seriously?" Alicia tilted her head to one side, a blond curl passing across her face as she did so.

"I think they might if you took yourself seriously," Jude replied. Alicia wasn't quite sure what to make of this comment -- as it a compliment?-- But she had an answer ready:

"But where would be the fun in that?" Alicia asked with a devilish grin. "Besides, I worked with the horses but I've never owned one. They just let me ride them. Speaking of riding..." Alicia turned Megan around, urging her forwards even as she spoke: "Why not see if you can catch me?"

She didn't turn to see if Jude was following but called back to him, not caring if her words were swallowed by the wind:

"You should be able to catch me easily with these sandals on." She knew it didn't make much sense. In fact, her lack of leg coverage was more likely to affect her riding but the taunt came easily to her lips and she laughed wildly into the wind, relishing in the freedom of the moment.

Jude

Jude laughed a bit. She was a taunter, that's for sure. He considered for a moment following her, but everyone was about to leave and he knew he would be in trouble if he wasn't there for the departure round-up.

"We have to get going." He spoke loudly to her, but did not yell--not knowing whether or not she heard him. "You best get that horse back over in line before we are both in trouble!"

He shook his head to Alicia, but he couldn't help but smile. He loved the wild spirit and certainly had one of his own, but he took his work seriously...most the time. There weren't many good jobs out this side of nowhere and he wasn't about to risk his for some girl he didn't even know.

He untied Tux from his post and led him over by the others, but attached him to the flex perpendicular to the one the others were attached too. Tux wasn't available to choosing by the campers, and he wanted that clear.

Jude turned and leaned against the fence, waiting to see if Alicia was following.

**changed Coke's age to 21 so he fits a little better**
[Coke]

Coke waited impatiently on Scorch for the departure round-up. Scorch was getting nervous, he could feel the excitement in the air. Coke didn't have to feel it, he could see it. The camper's eyes were wide and their facial expressions ranged from excited to scared. Coke flipped the hair out of his eyes impatiently, he wasn't looking forward to this.

Alicia

Alicia pouted a little when she realised she wasn't being followed but reigned Megan in and, dismounting, walked her back towards the fence. She smiled again when she heard Jude's laughter.

"Tie her up next to Tux so she don't get chosen by anyone else," Jude suggested. Alicia nodded and fastened the reigns to a post before gliding across to Jude and following him in the general direction of a large square where everyone seemed to be congregating.

"Hello again. I hear they're doing a luggage check, would you like me to bring your bag?" Alicia eyed the boy from earlier. He was starting to get annoying but she smiled and nodded.

"Oh yes, I'd love that," she gushed. The boy headed off. Jude raised an eyebrow -

"He might get in trouble for being late, you know..." Alicia shrugged this off with a care-free grin.

"Don't worry, I'm sure he'll be quick."

Sam~

Sam laughed aloud as Dancer snorted and backed away from the city people. "There, there," she comforted with a smiled. She pulled her cowboy hat on and studied all the people. Some wore decent clothes...others wore some she wouldn't dream of wearing. She smirked as a few horses bucked other kids off their backs. She brought Dancer out of the gate and closer to Dusty. "These people got some wierd styles," she smirked. Dusty let out a laugh and shook her head.

***Ok, so sorry I haven't really posted, I don't have much time online cause I got a bad grade. Keep my girl alive***

Dusty---

Dusty looked around the group. They had taken forever to get their things in saddle bags and on the horses. She looked at Cookie, the cook. He sat on his traditional chuck wagon. When he saw her looking at him he spit tabacco juice out of his mouth letting her know what he thought about the group. She smiled in response.

"Alright everyone, gather round." She called standing up in her stirrups. They all gathered around and she looked them over. "There are a few things y'all need to understand. If you take care of your horse then you'll be ok. If you don't take care of your horse you'll be walking alongside your horse the whole way. Treat them with respect, or I"ll let them run with the other horses and you'll carry your stuff until you can treat them with respect." She smiled, "Now, as long as you don't do that we should be fine. I want NO trouble, do not harras each other. YOu all will have a chore every day, you must get it done or everyone will feel the trouble. Now, you'll be getting up early. Some will be helping Cookie get plates and everything ready, don't touch anything in his wagon, I'll leave you to his mercy if you do."

[Coke]

Coke smiled slightly, Dusty was good at this kind of thing. He looked over at the campers, who seemed like they were trying to figure out what to do now, and smiled encouraging. He was regaining his good mood and looked over at Dusty to see when they would start.

Andrew:

I went back to the ranch and saw the girl who had flirted with me earlier. I sighed. whatever. Why not?

"Hey Alicia. Ready to go?" I asked, looking at her on the horse. why was she so beautiful? That didn't make it easy to resist her.
