[Giovanna]
"Mom!" Giovanna pleaded. "You can't be serious! Sam- Sirith- they were happy together, why are you doing this?"
Eris looked at Sam lean against Sirith's door sadly, then she looked back down at her daughter. The corners of her mouth twisted up in a crooked smile.
"Because, since Sirith is the God of Rage, he can't have anything blocking his rage. If his rage is gone and replaced with love for Luna's daughter Samantha, the people of the world won't feel any rage."
"But wouldn't that be a good thing? No more wars?"
Eris tossed the apple in the air. "No, you must remember who I am and what I'm the goddess of. If there were no wars... It would make me VERY angry, and if I was angry..." she didn't finish her sentence, letting Giovanna imagine what would happen.

[Orpheus]
"The apple, my mom's apple could be your new power source. You wouldn't even need all of it, just a piece." Orpheus told Viola.
Eris walked over to Sam, smiling softly. "I'm sorry," she cooed. "But he doesn't need something to cover up his rage, like the emotion love. So I had to break you two up,"
