Tobi stood infront of me as another 5 were cats appeared, they growled at Tobi.

"That's our tabby." One of them growled.

I tried to step infront of Tobi but he pushed me back. I glared at them from the small part that stood between Tobi and Amber. I looked at the gun I had set down they were scattered across the floor the bullets all over the place.

"I don't care if she had a stamp on her forehead your not getting her." Jared glared.

"Jess, make a run for it." Amber said.

"I can't, we have to get Maria back and plus theres three of them." Ok, that didn't exactly matter I could outrun 50 male were-cats but I didn't want to right now. "Tobi," I paused.

"What?" He said not taking his eyes off of the males.

"Let them take me." I said.

"No." He whispered.

"Let them take me, they'll give Maria back. Were-cats don't go back on their promises." I said.

"You know what they'll do to you, forget it Jesse." Jared snapped.

I did know what they would do, they'd all use me and whoever got me pregnant would be my mate. I would never see Tobi, Amber, Jared, Maria or anyone else I cared about again. I caught a glimps of all those weres' smiling. I knew they couldn't wait to get their hands on me, but I wasn't going to make it that easy for them.

"I have to, otherwise you'll never see Maria again." I said.

"You go and we'll never see you again." Tobi said.

Damn he had me there.

"I-" I was interruped.

"Maria is smart she'll find her way back."

"It's not that easy escaping were cats." Because it wasn't they weighted at least a good 200-250 pounds in cat form. I only weighed 100 pounds in cat form which meant I was underweight but I was okay for human form weighing a healthy 113 pounds.

"Their not taking you Jessica." Tobi and Jared said at the same time.

Tobi Uzaki-

Jessica tried to walk past Tobi, but he grabbed her arm. "I'm not letting you leave." Tobi told her.

More were-cats entered the house. Tobi had to think of something quick. Tobi grabbed Jessica in his arms and kissed her. Everyone stared.

The were-cats hissed. "I've already claimed her, she's going to have my children. Sorry but its too late." Tobi lied.

the were-cats stared. Jessica was swept in Tobi's sudden embrace, she was speechless. Amazed by his kiss.

" Jessica, is my mate now and she is pregnate." Tobi added.

"Right?" He asked Jess.

She nodded. the were-cats hissed. "Fine."

Then with that they left. But Jessica was still in Tobi's arms, and Amber was shocked. While Jared was impressed with Tobi's quick thinking.



After a few seconds, Tobi released his hold on Jess. Making her drop alittle bit on the ground. "Good, they're gone." Tobi said.

(Jessica)

I dropped to the floor, Tobi was a quick thinker, and a great kisser. I was still in a moment of shock.

"What?" Tobi said grinning.

"I've been trying to figure out how to make them leave for years."

He grin became wider, "and?" He said.

"And call me a slut but your a great kisser." I said my fingers still to my lips.

"Years of exprience." he smiled.

"How many years?" I asked.

"95." He was so smug I started to glare.

"Oh you hush up." I said when he pulled me to my feet. "You know they'll be back right? And they're not going to be happy, they might kill you."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. We've heard all their bullshit before."

"I'm serious Uzaki." I said pointing my finger at him with a scowl.

"I know. Now, c'mon Jess get some sleep."

I let out a breath, thinking how and the hell I got so lucky to have friends like this.

"But wait..." I said as he stared back at me.

"What?" He said a little annoyed.

"What are we gonna do about him?" I asked pointing to the two dead were cats on the floor.

"Ha! Screw them, lets go to sleep Jess." Tobi said.

"You know I can't sleep with dead bodies in the house! It freaks me out!" I said.

Tobi Uzaki-

He sighed." I'll clean them up, but the rest of you get to bed. We'll need our rest in order to save Maria."

Amber and Jared nodded. Jared headed to his room, while Amber went in Tobi's room. Jessica saw that.

"Uzaki? Why is Amber sleeping in your room?" Jessica asked.

There was a hint of jelousy in Jessica's voice. "Its not like that, she doesn't have a room, so I let her sleep in my bed while I sleep on my couch. Now Jessica, head to bed. I'll clean this up." Tobi explained.

Jessica sighed. "Alright."

After she left, Tobi grabbed two plastic garbage bags. Then he cleaned up the mess. The smell of dead were-cats sticked to him.

"Crap I have to take a shower." Tobi maoned.

With that he went to the bathroom and prepared his shower.

(Jessica)

I went to my room and flung myself on the bed and groaned, Maria was gone and damnit to hell it was all my fault! I could have saved her but noooo!!! Just then I played with the gun in my hands if was full of at least five silver bullets and were-cats sadly didn't have 9 lives. Although it would be nice. An arm snaked out from under my bed and had a knife to my throat, it was a were-cat a male, I could smell him.

"Not so fast." He laughed. The cold blade slithered near my throat.

"Shit." I said. Just great all alone in my room with a pissed off were-cat who out weighed me by at least 40 pounds.

"You're not married, or mated or even pregnant you lying bitch."His fist flew at my face I saw stars and rolled onto the floor.

He blocked my doorway damnit! Who was going to hear me scream now? I wouldn't I had to take this one on my own and if I didn't goodbye me. He lunged for me and the last minute thing to do I pulled up the gun and shot

bullets and it was all over, the were-cat was dead and my whole body was soaked with blood. I felt ashamed becuase I had killed one of my own. But it was against were-cat law for a tom cat to hit a tabby. Because tabby's were rare and by my count right now there were only five tabby mating cat left out in the whole world right now. And supposedly I was one of them, I heard footsteps in the hallways running towards my room, I aimed the gun to the doorway but was careful as I saw my bedroom door open....

Tobi Uzaki-

He heard the gun shots and he rushed out of his shower- in a towel. Running into Jessica's room he saw waht happened. She was covered in blood. Tobi entered the room.

"Jessica, Are you alright?" He asked in concern,

Jared-

He was angry, how dare the wre-cats attack his clan. He heard the gun shots but then he heard Tobi. "He'll take care of it." Jared muttered as he tried to sleep.



Amber-

She had fallen asleep in Tobi's bed. But she awoke to hear the gun shots. But then she heard Tobi's voice. He was ok, nad so was Jess. Then she made a promice to herself.

"I won't allow Tobi to die."

So when is the ball again?...Isn't it tonightin the storybook?*

As soon as Octobergirl response then I'll make the Ball start! Its a promise on my word Amber.*

(Jessica) *sorry*

I lowed the gun to see Tobi in my doorway,

"Oh, it's just you. I swear this nightmare will never end." I said

I watched his eyes he was horrified that my whole body except my knees and below was covered in blood. He looked at the male were... or what was left of him.

"It will." He said taking the gun out of my shaking hands he put it on the nightstand. "Why are you so shaky?" He asked. I tried to turn away but then his hand caught around my chin to study the bruises that were-cat had left. "That damn thing hit you?" He sounded angry.

"It's okay. I'll be alright, I've had worse." I lied. "I'll......... I'll see you later."

I said walking out of my room, I didn't want anyone to see me cry. I walked outside and caught the sides of the roof then, I pounced and got all the way up. I sat up there for the longest time letting my tears wash off the blood from my face. I wanted someone to comfort me but everyone I knew was dead.

Tobi Uzaki-

He sighed, walking out of the room he chased after Jessica. Tobi grabbed Jessica's arm. "Stop. You need to sleep, the ball is tomarro." Tobi told her.

She turned to face him. "Where can I sleep? My room is destroyed?"

Then she noticed he was in a towel, causing her to blush. "You can sleep on the couch in my room."

He pointed to his bedroom door. She didn't want to, but she listened to him.

After getting dressed he cleaned her room, and stayed awake the rest of the night.

Guarding the house, and those inside. As the sun began to set the ball was only a few hours away.

Sitting on the living room couch- Jacin( LunaBuna!!!) left her room.

"You're still awake Uzaki?" She asked.

But she was wrong, he was sitting straight but his eyes were slightly opened. He was past out.

Jacin sighed as she gently pushed him on the couch, lying him down, and putting a blanket over him. She rubbed his cheeks. He was cold as stone.

Jacin blushed as she bent down and lightly kissed his lips.
