Just for the record, we are very friendly, but we tend to be more friendly to those who follow the rules. One big rule is that you review at least two other literary works before posting your own and keep your review/writing ratio at at least that amount. This ensures that everyone gets reviews. For other important rules and info, click on the "About" Section on the upper righthand corner. There's some good rules, guides, and FAQ's there.

I second the recommendation for you to read the Guides and the FAQ asap. They contain much valuable information for the newbie.
And as soon as you do that, jump right in! Post some of your work (remember to leave two reviews for every one work you post), join in the discussions, leave some reviews, find us in the chat room! The more you participate, the more enjoyment you'll get out of the site!
