I growled. "Sarah, go to your room." she rushed off. I grabbed my backpack, taking out Bio. "Liz, grab a pen and paper." I opened the door and put a fake smile on. "Hello sir. Can I help you?"
Liz snatched a peice of completely covered paper and a pen, acting like she was taking notes. "Wondrin' if Liz is here." His voice sounded gruff, making Liz flinch.
Liz gulped and crossed her fingers, hoping that her dad wouldn't want her home. "No reaseon," her dad answered, truely sounding drunk, "just wanted to make sure she wasn't doing something bad." Liz heard his boots clack across the cement, hoping he was leaving.
I nodded. "No problem. I wasn't about to let him see you anyways. he was drunk and upset. Those two things don't go well together." I frowned and looked at Liz.
I grinned evily, pulling her to me and kissing her passionately, running my hands through her hair. "We could go back to what we were doing...or we could just watch something on T.V. Your choice, love."
"Liz, I'm so sorry." I took her in my arms and held her there. I hated to see her hurting or upset. "Is there anything else I can do?!" Then I frowned. "You don't have to go back home, do you?" I asked, trying not to get angry.
Liz smiled and then grimaced. "Yeah, I do. If he knows I'm here then he'll expect me home in a few minutes. Since it is six o'clock. I could just stay here. But, when I go back I'll have alot more than a black eye," she laughed lightly.
"I'm already in enough trouble for not coming home for two days. I'll see you tomorrow. Grace c'mon." She kissed Johnathan passionately and walked back to his room, grabbing her clothes and hugging Sarah. She smiled and started out the door after Grace.
I growled. "I'm not going to let you go home! Liz..." I groaned. "If you get hurt, I will never forgive myself! And what about Tin?! Do you want me staking out your house until I see you again?!" I asked. I ran my hand through my hair, frustrated. "At least let me come to diner with you."
Liz sighed and turned towards him, facing him. "Fine. But only dinner and you've gotta bring Sarah so she's not here alone." He nodded in agreement and walked back into the house. Liz groaned and frowned. "What if him or Sarah gets hurt? What will I do?!" She asked Grace walking towards her.
"I'm not sure. Let's just hope your dad isn't that bad or Tin doesn't find us." Grace replied, her voice crumbling under worry,
I sighed. "Sarah, we're going to Liz's." I didn't like taking Sarah, I didn't want her getting hurt, but I wasn't going to let Liz go by herself. I groaned and walked out with Sarah. I looked at Liz. It wasn't her fault, but I swore to myself that if he tried to mess with my sis, I'd haul him off to jail then and there for child abuse. "You sure you can't stay?" she nodded. I sighed. "Let's go then."
