Well, she's already found Haven, Twili and Erica's, so she has Dusty, Kaleb, Kneph, Gregory and Lilith left to find. So maybe sometime within today's school day or tommorow's? Right Jaden?
And let's all have three cheers for TNcowgirl and Maybe, who have come back from the dead! (lol.)
w00t!
I'm waiting on responses from Maki and Luna. Maybe we'll have everyone back soon!

CHEER! Yeah, I'm planning on finding Kaleb, Dust Kneph, Gregory, and Lilith by the end of the day. If I can't fit them all in one school day then I'll probably go on to the second. I can't do anything yet until you all get caught up in the same hour. Sorry I didn't know what you meant Firestar. :}
Ok, for future reference for the mentors and whoever else:
Gregory, Erica, and Haven are all 15. That means tenth grade.
Dusty, Twili, and Lilith are all 16. That means eleventh OR tenth grade.
Kaleb's 18. That means twelfth grade.
And Kneph is out of school.
So, if we're using the normal American grade system, then the first group (Gregory Erica and Haven) would be in different classes than the second group, unless we all want to have late or early birthdays, in which case we'd probably all be in the same grade (with the exception of Kaleb): 10th.
You guys wanna do that? I'm just trying to make it easier on Jaden and Maybe, so they don't have to be runnin' all over the school lookin' for us.
Sound good?
(sorry if I sound really nitpicky and obsessive, it's just been bothering me for a while now that we have different ages in the same class. idk, I'm weird)

Maybe, which people do you want to see their elemental signatures and how are you going to find them? I have glasses, do you have something that can see the signatures or can you just see them with your own eyes?

Well, Dusty's in the musical appreciation class with Haven, Lilith, Gregory, Erica, Twili and Kneph. I guess Kaleb can be there too, if you'd like. We could make it a multi-grade class...

Okay, here an idea I've been thinking about for a looooooooooooong time hence the...*counts*...13 O's.
First, music appretiation is usually a multi-grade class (I think) so Kaleb can be in it too, if he wants.
Second: I have some ideas for the mentors finding the sig.'s
One of them can find Dusty's when she's lighting a Bunson burner in Chem. or something.
Lilith's can be found a lunch and she's in the courtyard or something and a chipmunk eats her sandwich (or...something).
Greagory's can be found...uh...in the courtyard when the wind is blowing
Just an idea.
And another thing....
when we actually go, we're all going to do something or another (decided by the mentors) that's going to send us to another world. What if we traveled through a warp hole thingy that is made of our elements; kinda to make the transition to not really being able to manipulate our elements to being all powerful and stuff.
*Breathes*
Uh...yeah, I think thats just about it!

I like the idea of the warp thing, though instead of going from not being able to use our powers to being powerful and able to control them, what about it being a sort of...unlocking?
Like, we couldn't use our powers before, because they were locked. But when we traveled through the portal, it cleansed us of the magical dampers that being in the non-magical race for so long put on our powers.
So we still can't control them, (we still need the necklaces for that) but they are accesible through raw bouts of power, or when we feel emotions very strongly.
Ooh, and that opens up a whole range of new possibilities!
Has anyone ever read the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan (may he rest in peace)? One of the characters there has a block on her magic, where she can only do magic when she is angry.
What if our characters had a variation of that? Like, we would be able to weild our powers better when we are feeling a certain emotion. Sort of like a...magic enhancer. lol.
Well, sorry for my rambling. Risa, you just gave me so many ideas!

Here's an idea I've been toying with:
If the elementals work off of negative emotions best
(Dusty: Anger possibly, Haven: Sadness, Twili: depression possibly, Erica: Loneliness, possibly)
then why don't we have it where when we go through the portal that each of us has to re-live our worst memory corresponding with our emotion.
(Haven would see Allie's death, Erica might see a time when she was missing her dad, or when her dad left, and so forth.)
It could be as a sort of test by the mentors to see if we were ready. Or we could see it after we've been through the portal, when we get our gifts, and the mentors warn us, telling us we're going through a test. Either way would be good: with the first, the mentors get to see raw, unchecked power brought on from emotion, or, with option two, they get to see how good we are at controlling our powers. (Personally, I like option one, but I'm an angst junky so....)
How's that sound? Tell me if you have any better ideas.
