reside in Washington for the many reasons that hold me here.
I reside in Washington for the simplistic fact that my family resides here. My parents have chose to live here and wherever the go I go. Loving, Caring, and strict when necessary. My parents are what every child hopes a parent would be like. I live within a home that consists of pure love and comfort. A home that I would have chosen if given the choice. My parents made the intelligent decision of raising my brother and I in this simply amazing state. A state I’m proud to live within. My family is spread throughout the state but yet we have all chosen Washington’s way of life. Smooth, Easy, Calm and collected. Since the day I was born I’ve called Washington home and most likely will for the remainder of my life.
I reside in Washington for its liberal aspects. The easy going free spirited people who roam their towns and cities having a smile pleasing their face. A way of life in which your decision is your decision. Collaborated of people who face a difference of opinions with open minds. This state emphasizes individual rights and equal opportunity. The freedom of thoughts, speech, and the open exchange of ideas. These values have planted themselves into the majority of Washington’s residents.
I reside in Washington for my life story. The highs and lows that write the forever-living novel of my life. The good, the bad, the ugly, the fun times, the sad times, the happy times, the amazing times, the scary times, the exciting times, the relaxing times, the chaotic times and the many times that I’ve yet to experience. My life path drawing its diagram of the path my life takes. Some days a clear straight line and others a rigid uphill battle. But always a path where the unknown walks beside me. Where every incoming minute is unpredictable.
I reside in Bellingham for the rain. For the smell that echoes and lingers within our clear crisp air. The calming sounds of the hush and tranquil art that’s being painted amongst its canvas of Washington. A nighttime down pour being a blessing, As we lay in bed hearing the poundings of the soft drops of water that hit and slide off the surface of our roofs. The water cascading throughout our neighborhoods and descending into their waterhole dwellings, the collection’s of it being prone to the swoop in surrounding surfaces. It’s the rain that Washington is known for. That tourist’s have come to hate and residents have come to love.
I reside in Washington for the diversity. For the fact that we all are one within our communities. That one person is not judged by the color of there skin but by the content of there character. One person is not judged by the income of there household or there level within social classes. Social classes have become a distant past and have been rearranged to the effect that people respect you for who you are and not the background you reside in. Were not mad up of a completely Caucasian society but yet one that encourages the interracial aspects. We accept everyone like every person should.
I reside in Washington for the education. For the teachers that challenge me to go beyond my limits to stretch my intellectual abilities. Where teachers care about what we have to say and our sometimes controversial opinions. Our workloads consisting of understandable ones. Not ones that keep us up at night beyond what we should. Where within the classrooms teachers choose to give us assignments and activities that they feel will be beneficial to us beyond our high school experiences. Where Teachers truly have a caring nature and immerse there selves in our education and growing intellect.
I truly reside in Washington for these reasons. These reasons being ones that I feel are important to me. The reasons that will probably keep me here for the remainder of my life.
