[Well, "since when" is a good question; there's heavy debate regarding this holiday amongst prominent YWS Historians, with no collective being any predominant view. It's that time of year again! Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, and it's snowing in the Midwest! "What does all this mean?" you ask. Well, let me tell you: here at the YWS, we have an unstable and sporadic tradition of what we like to call the YWS Review Weekend. Simply put, we ask all the YWS users to commit to a wild, crazy weekend of ten or more (10+) reviews! Think of all the poor, lonely poems and stories out there just waiting for someone like you to come and show them some love--and now, with the offer I'm about to make you, how can you, in good conscience, turn them down? You can't! As an added reward for your participation, the number of points allotted per review has been increased from 50 to 70 points !
