I noticed that in most of the story books most of the characters are young and attractive or both, with rightous personalitys. Well, well. I want a story book where all but two characters are ugly on the outside and or inside, or just older and older does not constitute 20's. First come first serve on the well rounded characters, but you must do both if you do one, and one boy and one girl, and they can't get together.
setting: A small community on the beach, where ever, at school, store or where ever you want your character to meet other characters.
up to three characters, as mean, creepy, and ugly as you want, but try to be realistic, and it will be a fun writing exercise to try and explain why your character is so mean, stupid, annoying (they don't nessesarily have to be bad people) or whatever.
example:
Name: Alanna
Age: 16
Appearance: porter rican, but doesn't know the language, chubby but not exactly fat, plain facial features, but does well enough hiding it with distracting makeup and clothes.
Personality: pathological liar, slutty, not smart or stupid, likes attention but feels she can only get it through being victimized or slutty. Girls tend to hate her until they get to know her which she rarely gives them a chance to, and boys don't respect her. Depressed but only the people subject to her more intense lies realize it, and tend not to care because she or her lies.
Backround: beaten by her father, but not exessively enough to really hurt her, and had to have an abortion from a boyfreind who dumped her before he waited to see if she was pregnant.
