I'm going to warn everybody in this topic to stop a) flaming other people and b) swearing. This is a YOUNG writer's society, and not everyone enjoys swearing as much as some people do. And insulting and provoking other people is NOT accepted.

Apologies for being serious, but it must be done.

To say something on topic, I was wondering how much girls like or dislike a "tough" guy. That is to say to what extend does a guy need to be "manly", or "strong" in front of a girl? Not just outer strength such as muscles, but inner strength like not backing down etc.

i like guys to be able to stand up for themselves when it's needed and not take any crap (that doesn't count as swearing, does it?), but generally just be laid back. i hate guys who pretend to be macho but guys who know what they want and are confident is definitely hot.....

(although black eyes are sexy so if you are gonna be decked, ask him to aim for your eye....in the end, it'll actually work to your advantage.....)

ok so a question for guys then: do you prefer a girl who knows what she wants and goes after it i.e. (would make the first move or whatever) and isn't too bothered about what she wears or do you like a real 'girly girl' who is all flirty and wears pretty clothes and plays hard to get?

Definitely the former. I hate girls who play hard to get. I love girls who don't seem like they try too hard with clothes/make up but still look good.

Wow, that escalted pretty fast.

Anyways, a girl that plays hard to get is annoying. A girl that is too easy, I wouldn't feel I could trust. Somewhere inbetween then ;).
I wrote the above just for you.

I like guys who have a sense of humor, since I have none.

Crysi wrote:*growls* Bluestone, you're overstepping your boundaries. The "fight" between Aniar and Hunter was just a simple little entertainment thing. Nothing serious. But yet again you must put yourself in the spotlight.. I'm not in the mood for you to mess around. This is a warning, and shall be continued in a lengthy PM.

Alright everyone, let's lighten up, shall we?

Emma, calm down, he wasn't talking about you. He was talking about BS (oh so accurately named).

... :? Ummm. Okay. What did I do? My last post was nothing of the likes. If you make reference to older posts, then there is such thing as 'quoting'.

Funny... BS. Good one! And Crysi, you said some time ago when you were angry with me (Delo vs. Me) you said the same joke! Funny! But you when all was made up, you made an apology for your childish behavior. What does it make you now? A wiser child? Aniar... *cough* What was that? Again, my latest post should not draw the reply you gave. Explain yourself. Hunter, same. What is there to deal with? I wanted to duel, so I started. Then they yell at me for hitting too hard. Apologies, but still there is yelling. Boundries?! Like what? What did I do? Warning?! I spit upon your warning Crysi, as you are not fit to moderate. Fire gave me a warning for my attitude and my approach. You give me warnings for a personal viewpoint. I insulted Hunter... Love, it's already been done. Fire gave me the warning. Not only that you decide to do it publically! Like I said, you do your moderating skills in a benefit to the members. A simple, "BS, you need to stop acting in a [blank] way. We are not here to insult one another." or "BS, don't take it as a flaming war like on the other boards" or even a "BS, my dragons are watching you, chill out". You disappoint me Crysi, you too Mesh. 100% ehh? Not only insulting you, Mesh, but Crysi has done the star in her PM to me. :|

Hmm...well, in answer to Jack's question:

Yes. I find guys who are confident and firm in their beliefs EXTREMELY attractive. I was hanging out with one of my friends and she introduced me to some of her friends. One guy who's a couple of years older than me immediately caught my attention because when we were introduced, he said hello and looked me right in the eye and then repeated my name a couple of times (obviously making sure he'd remember it).

And it's not just the confidence he carried himself with, it was the obvious respect that he had for the other people around. At one point, he jumped into the fray of a bunch of people shooting hoops with only two basketballs and snatched one out to give to a smaller kid who'd been trying to get in on the action.

Let me tell you what, I nearly died. Especially when he held the door later and made sure all the girls had gotten their plates of food before serving himself.

Confidence, courtesy, and chivalry are SO FREEKIN' HOT.

LOL...he's not mine...but...*swoons*

*cricket*cricket*

*snaps back to reality*

Oops. Sorry about that.

Actually, Crysi, I have no idea how I found him. Unfortunately, I've only hung out with him a couple of times, I'm totally infatuated, and he's a senior leaving for college in the fall. I don't think anything will come of it...but a girl can dream...*sigh*

How about girls that can barely form a coherent sentence in the presence of an attractive male and blush incessently? LOL...story of my life! I actually blushed when some really cute guy asked me what time it was because he *gasp* acknowleged my presence...

Lol! I do the same, most of the time. And conversations are practically impossible for me. I stutter so much and rush my words that I've given up on talking to guys I like lol.
