Welcome, YWS, to the First Ever Literary Awards. It is Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy Time so it only seems appropriate that YWS have some awards of its own.

Below are the categories, it is very simple. Members simply select literary pieces in each category that they feel deserves to win that award. You cannot nominate yourself and all pieces must be dated from January 1st 2007 to December 31st 2007.

If you are nominating a piece please include a link to it. Simply follow the links below to the appropriate nomination thread and post your nominations. They are all fairly self explanatory, but if you have any questions feel free to PM me. you can nominate one story for more than one category.

You all have until March the First so make sure and nominate your favorite stories and poems today!

Poetry

Fiction

Non-Fiction

My bad. XD
The sadness drains through me rather than skating over my skin. It travels through every cell to reach the ground. I filter it yet strangely enough, I keep what was pure and it is the dirt that leaves.

I'm working on my nominations.

We might want to advertise that it's 2007 only...I saw at least one person post a nomination for a 2008 piece...

This kind of makes me sad because some of my best stuff isn't on the side any more. I submitted it places so it had to be deleted. :(

If you all weren't so brilliant, I could actually chose some. ^^

I would've chosen, except after I started looking, I realized that all the stories I liked except for Aet's Cray-on Lay-onds were from '08. Actually, my #1 sci-fi story (Mutts, by GryphonFledging) was originally post on January 1, 2008. Curses!! XD

And I wasn't going to put up a review for one story...
