Hey everybody. I'm Kakistocrat and in case any of you were wondering, no, I don't know why I chose that name. I like the word. *shrug*

As it is, I've been writing since I was a youngling and have explored a variety of different genres in my "career." Right now, my most prevalent appears to be science fiction (something I admit almost tentatively). Besides music, writing is probably one of my greatest passions in life (so far).

Anyway, I hope to learn from my experiences here and just have a good time interacting with some fellow writers.

My recommendations for new members:

1)Read the FAQ's. I wish I had when I was a new member. I'm still relatively new here, but it feels pretty stupid to find out things after two months that you could have in an hour after reading the FAQ's and Guides.

2)The users with names in green are the mods. Bother them if you need any help. Or PM random people with questions. Everybody loves to help.

3)Review! Post! The sooner you get active, the better! And you get rewarded with points! Yay!
