It's the last part, yay!

Seven years had changed nothing. The same five-year-old girl that had fallen asleep in her grandmother’s arms was faced with the same situation again. This time though, it hit closer to home since she could actually understand the mechanics about what was going on around her.
Ellie sat and rocked back and forth on the ground, doing the same as when her grandparents had been fighting. The déjà vu of the situation chilled her to the core. This was not an experience she wanted to go through once, let alone a second time. She’d been eavesdropping again as her parents yelled at each other. The fight ended with her mother storming off to a hotel to stay for the night. Her father, her rock in the world, had walked out of the kitchen, rushing past her, not noticing Ellie's disheveled form rocking on the floor. He had just gone upstairs, not caring anymore about her or her brother. Eric's the lucky one. He didn't have to listen as they tore each other apart, listen to the shouts reverberating off the walls of the whole house. Thank goodness he's at David's or I think he might have hurt Dad. Dad. The thought of him burned in her mind, sensations ran through her, mirroring when she was younger. The only difference was she now had a name to put to this adrenaline pumping emotion, fury, rage and hatred. The sensations pulsed within her, making her want to lash out at the world and destroy everything in sight. It took all of her self-control to restrain her retracting arm. Her skin yearned to come in contact that pristine caramel wall in front of her, to dent the very things that had caused the fight to be ten times worse as it increased the volume eleven fold.
Ellie continued to rock back and forth, swinging faster as she released the pent up emotion that had slowly built itself up during the match. Sadness, not wanting to be outdone by rage, sent out its warriors in the form of tears pooling down her face. The cold hard floor, rubbed against her as violently as she was, if not more. The friction being created warmed her bottom, keeping the demons of numbness from her. She continued to rock on the floor until nothing existed in the world around her except herself and the memory of her grandmother's voice lulling her five-year-old self to sleep. She listened to the memory of the voice, softly repeating the lullaby to herself, hoping to gain some comfort again.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray, you'll never know dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away." She whispered this over and over again, forcing back everything that had violently shredded her to pieces, not putting her back together again this time. Ellie became a blank vessel, no emotion escaping or coming in, shielding her from the night’s events. She glared at the cherry wood floor, fighting off the fluttering that would send her into a world where anything was possible, including the destruction of her blank state of mind. Emotions were dangerous even if they weren’t in this situation so, why would she want to allow her weak self to be exposed to them ever again? Tears formed in her eyes, this time from the dry climate she was submitting her eyes to. Her eyelids fluttered as her resolve weakened, being chipped away by her body at its sharp schedule. It knew it had to sleep, to commit these events to her long-term memory, forever etching them into its database. Black swam at the edges of her vision, her mouth opening widely in a lion like yawn. Her eyes disappeared from the world, those pools of brown shielded by cream layers. Against her wishes, she was drifting to sleep, a release from the cage of the world. A cool feeling overcame her as she was swept away to dreamless sleep.
