My name is Julia obviously, and I'm 14 years old. I'm a proud little asian thank you. I'm pretty much a typical girl that loves boys (heh) and shopping and I do a handful of sports like lacrosse, soccer, swimming, skiing, and I was a blue belt in taekwondo. I also enjoy writing (duh), cursing (like an asian sailor), watercoloring, reading, photography, sleeping, walking, my little puppy Bo, autumn, nature, thunder, and some other stuff I'm way too lazy to type here.
Nature is definately my inspiration for writing. I love the rawness of the elements and animals especially. My first few 'books' were for contests held by my library. I came away with 3 Honorable Mentions and 1 first place. I bashed myself for the longest times over those HMs xD I also went/am going through a poetry writing stage where really all my poetry consisted of were long words and stuff that people couldn't really read. I won an HM for that too >.<
I am VERY AGAINST animal abuse but I would never, ever, ever join PETA. They're doing more harm than help.
Other than writing, music's my passion. I've been playing the piano since I was 6 and the saxophone since I was in 4th grade. SOME of my favorite artists is Yiruma (Korean pianist), The Rocket Summer, Death Cab for Cutie, The Click 5, Metro Station, HelloGoodbye, Relient K, Goo Goo Dolls, Colbie Callait, etc.
I love love love to read and I'm probably the biggest bookworm you'll ever meet. Some authors I LOVE(D) books by Erin Hunter, Lois Lowery, Michelle Paver, Kate Dicamillo, and Suzanne Collins. My favorite author now is probably Ellen Hopkins and some of my favorite books are To Kill A Mocking Bird, books by David Clement-Davies, books by Ellen Hopkins, Bleed, Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. I have a ton of books in my room and even after buying a humungous bookshelf I still can't fit them all x_x My biggest pet peeves with a book are people that 'doggy-ear' their pages, tear pages, bend covers, get crayon/pencil/pen on the cover, or someone that ruins the book cover. Yes I am crazy.
Ugh, anybody else a fan of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli???! I am no fan of anime really but his films are amazing and so artistic, I highly recommend his films if you've never seen them before. They're the only movies I can watch over and over again without getting bored.
I've got a mild fear of fire and growing up. Not to go emo on you but I seriously grew up WAY too fast and didn't even enjoy life while I was young. That's a whole different story though lol.
Just some random facts now:
1. My favorite color is teal.
2. I had (..have) this crazzzzzzzy obsession with cheetahs when I was younger lol.
3. I love videogames too haha. My favorites are KH, Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing. <3

I love to write and not just as a hobby- it's my LIFE.
There is no 'plan b'.
