Hey Nate, I tried to get on chat and it loads, but it won't connect. I've refreshed and reloaded the page a couple of times now.

Teddy, try using this link. I had the same problem just yesterday.

Teddy, the link Lumi shared with you should work. But where are you trying to connect from? As in, are you connecting from your home, a school, or somewhere else?

Yeah, there's this weird thing that keeps ranting wherever I go.

It's called MMM, sometimes Gatsby, but I suspect it's MeanMrMustard. Tell it to stop posting nonsense all about.

Actually, the age rating system keeps resetting on me when I post things. I put "E" and it goes to nothing. I put "18+" and it goes to nothing. D8 Has this been shared or fixed? Thanks.

MMM, fixing the topic rating bug is unfortunately quite difficult. However, it is on my list.


Regarding chat issues, I don't recall this many connection issues when we last had this chat room. However, we're using a very old version of the flash chat, and so I think that could be the cause. I've asked the hosting provider of the chat to upgrade us to the latest version, which should take between 24 to 48 hours.

Hopefully after it's upgraded, the connection issues will cease. But, we'll see.

I just noticed that when I click on a users name and try to go to their profile, I get a message that says "The requested user does not exist."

The same thing happened to me when I tried to click on the profile link in Chat last night (at about 9 pm). I chalked it up to a chat glitch and am waiting for the switchover. I can get to profiles just find through the site, though.

Chat profile links are fixed.


Regarding chat, we have upgraded to the newest version. This may solve any connection issues. If you cannot enter chat, send me a PM.

Blogs went a tinny bit funny. Instead of two columns, they go down to one column and cover the footer.

I tried to post something last night, and got this:

I decided to wait it out for the morning. I just tried again and I'm still getting the same result.

I was trying to post in Dramatic Poetry, and I also tried Other Poetry. Griff posted a test for me and it worked fine for him. I'm using Chrome and I tried it on Firefox as well.

(It must just be YWS shrieking at the sight of my work )

Okay, Nate. I just tried to get on chat here on campus and it wont let me. It gets to the loading screen but it won't connect just like last time. I think it might be our server, but I'm not totally sure.

Teddy ->> That sucks, and it's probably a firewall issue. So there isn't much I can do on my end.
