You used "the" and "the"???

XD Nate.

And that same thing happened to me in my blog a few days back. I tried to use the codes, but they wouldn't work. They work fine now. And then just the other day, I tried to post a comment on something, and it wouldn't bold anything. :(

It's not really bothering me too much, but I keep getting that You_been_banned message when I load the page. With a couple of refreshes I'm usually through though. I just thought it might help if I mentioned it here. :-)

Same as Master_Yoda.
It's very annoying, and unlike him I have to wait an hour or so before it clears up.
I was nerdy enough to print-screen it :P

Um, someone should maybe look into the leaderboard. Cause I think it's confused. Flower~Child is claimed to have 55 reviews this month. The only thing is, on her profile, she only has 13. That can't be right, can it.

The only reason I looked into it was because I know she's a new member and that's a lot of reviews, but it seemed like too many to not have seen ever one of her reviews within the forums. So I'm guessing the leader board has a glitch or something.
Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.

The leaderboards are a bit messed up in that it counts reviews differently.

In your profile, a review only counts as a review if it's at least 200 characters long. But, there's no such limit for the leaderboards. It's something I'm fixing for the new YWS.

When I try to go to the page 101 Tips for Writers, the page that shows up says "Oops, that page doesn't exist!"

Yeah, that page hasn't existed for a while. I think it's because it's now published in the first YWSLJ? I think that has something to do with it. Maybe not?

Sometimes when I post, it says "error getting user's post stat" and I don't earn any points. :(

Naaaaaaaaaaa-ate! When I try to comment on our YWS blog, it says this:

"Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

What's wrong with it? Did I break it? xD

Monki, I'm so glad you said something! I was wondering all day today and most of yesterday why no one was commenting! Thanks :)

(The following is going to prove that I'm a YWS geek and have no life, but we all knew that anyway. ;))

When you go to the very end of Writing Tips (possibly other forums as well, I've only gone to the end of writing tips) you'll get a message saying there are no posts in that form and you can no longer go backwards or forwards to change pages. You have to hit the Back key on your browser to be able to see threads again.

So, I thought it was just the internet in NY, but YWS keeps logging me out! I'm on firefox here, already tried clearing cache, hasn't helped. Other than that, I'm pretty sure I've heard this complaint from a few other people, so it's not just me! But it does make getting any work done rather difficult (and an excuse to laze around? You bet! :P)

yay double-posting! But!

Not only is YWS still logging me out, and for no reason I can discern, but when I hit the "view last 100 topics" link, all the times are wrong. They're in EST, and I'm in PST! And I thought I'd share the joy and complain ;) 'Cause I only flipped out a little bit when I saw 1:25AM next to a post. Just a little.

This is weird, and I probably won't be able to articulate it very well...

When I post a review, once it starts to get fairly long (a little after a scroll bar appears) the thing scrolls up whenever I try to type. So it looks like the reply bounce is bouncing up and down, because the scroll bar is going up and down.

It's probably my mess up computer... but does anyone else have this problem?

=p Yeah, that made no sense, sorry!
