It's like the entire point of this thread is to post a pic thinking that you're ugly, then get told that you aren't.

Unless you're me. In which case, if I were allowed to post a picture of myself, I would think that I am ugly and be told that I am ugly. Because I am ugly. I accepted that a while ago.

... wow. That seemed a little hypocritical. No offense or anything.

I love my swimming trunks so much. I even sleep in them sometimes ! =P

In regard to the above posts: I don't think I'm ugly, nor do I claim to be. I just think it's interesting knowing what other members look like, so I'm feeding that thought by posting my pictures.

Well, I only have one (: I think the other may be my mom's curling iron =P She and I sometimes wish we could trade my curls for her straightness =P

No, no, I still don't know how to use my camera properly. I can take pictues of my DS screen pretty well but fail at everything else XD

It's crazy how uniforms have changed so much, styles in general, over the centuries.


In partcial kit.
The black "thing" is the neck stock. It was tied tightly (but not so taut that it's restricting air flow) around the neck to keep the soldier's back and up straight - proper. It was the King's wish that his men not only looked good on the field but they would have great posture. The rope across my chest is my canteen. I'm wearing period spectacles and foraging cap. When on the field, it would be replaced with my battalion hat that historically a 29th Pvt. soldier would have worn. My waistcoat is only red because I'm part of the Light Inf. Co., not because I'm also a member of the Crown. The Regulars's waistcoat is white. (Just to clear up the confusion).

Not my best picture, but it's pretty good.
