Okie, so the name's Kadie, obviously. When registering, I couldn't be bothered to sit there for 20 minutes trying to come up with a somewhat interesting username, so Kadie it was.

I am short. Like really, really short, Only 5 foot 1, and it completely sucks, cos tall people feel the need to point it out to me as if i didn't already know. Tall people suck, no offense.

I am blonde, and as much as i hate the negative connotations that 'blonde' has with it, i do have a lot of 'blonde moments'. I have a tendency to say really stupid things, sometimes at really bad times.

I'm in my first year of college, doing English Language and Literature AS Levels. I've pretty much failed already, no joke. Turns out homework completion is compulsory, who woulda thought?

So next year, instead of continuing on with English, i'm thinkin about doing Media (for journalism and stuff) or Multimedia (for design and graphics and stuff) or maybe even Music, if i decide to get off my ass and actually learn guitar, which i've been meaning to do for a year now, ever since i bought the damned guitar.

I don't have a job. Believe me, i've tried to get one. I printed out like 20 cv's, but no one wanted me *tear*.

My friends are currently trying to set me up with literally any guy that moves. They've got it into their heads that the only reason i write romance is because i'm so sexually frustrated, which i suppose is half true, but come on! I'm not desperate!

Well, like i said, i write romance. Not very good romance, and i'm probably not gonna be posting any of my writing on here for a while yet since i'm never happy with what i write. But i'm trying to improve, i go to a writers group every week and i'm doing lots of writing exercises and workshops, so hopefully, one day soon i'll be proud enough of something i write to post it.

Hmm...what else to say. I drink quite a bit with friends, and i smoke occasionally when i'm in social situations. I know it's stupid, no need to tell me. But one of my new year resolutions was to stop smoking and so far i've been strong, resisted the temptation and all that :P

I was supposed to be making this short, but i'm droning on for ages, so i think i'll end it here.

Feel free to bombard me with questions, i like the attention :P

Kadie!!!!!!

Trust me, you are not that short. I'm five foot and I constantly find myself being told that I'm tiny. I feel for you. I also hate the fact that guys think they can pick you up whenever they feel like it just because you're small. >_<

English lit and language sound fairly cool - maybe you should try to stick it out for a while before you ditch it for Media. I hate my Media classes and never do the homework.....

So, what bands/musicians are you into? What's your favourite flavour of ice cream?

I know! they're complete ass holes, it's like 'you small, me big, me better' (imagine a cave man saying that, and he's thumping his chest whenever he says me, that's how it is), so annoying.

And as for english, i'm gonna stick with it until the end of the school year, but i'm really not enjoying it. I usually do homework if i like the course, but i just don't like it at all, and so i am failing miserably.

Favourite music, hmm...probably punk, rock, a bit of indie too. I've been obsessed with Sum 41 for like the past month or so.

Favourite ice cream would have to be vanilla with rasberry (or is it strawberry?) sauce. I could just eat a tub or two of that.

I think 5"5 is actually kinda tall for 14, right? You'll probably end up going over six foot, you're lucky.

I wish i'd grow a couple of inch :(

Hello Kadie!

Sometimes it's your cover letter that counts, people will decide to look at--or skim--your CV if the cover letter is good enough. Good luck job hunting, I only seem to grab part-time contracts jobs.

^ Thanks. I'll have to try that.

Well, my exams are fast approaching, and my essay dead line has been and gone. I was supposed to be writing a 2000 word essay on The Tempest (the most boring Shakespeare play ever) but i skipped to many lessons and i don't understand most of it, so i can't really write it.

Meh, I'm not doing English literature next year anyway, not on its own at least. Lately I've been thinking of doing English language/literature combined, instead of separate which is what I'm doing now.

I just got the new prospectus so i have the half term holidays to figure out what i wanna do.

As far as writing goes, I'm in a rut. I'm supposed to be writing a story for this competition called ficothon on fiction press, but i just can't get into it. Hopefully I'll get something done in the holidays.

And, I'M GOING TO SEE GOOD CHARLOTTE! They're not my favourite band, but they're the best band that's coming to sheffield for a while. They're coming in April. The local Roxy nightclub is being turned into a Carling academy and they're playing there, i can't wait.

I've been dared to throw my bra at the stage, but we'll see :P

I could probably write this in my blog, but i've never written in it before and i doubt people would actually look at it...so here will do.

So i went to see GOOD CHARLOTTE tonight, and i can not even begin to tell you how absolutely awful, yet absolutely amazing it was.

So i get into town, looking pretty good with my awesome boots that i got on sale and are a size too small for me, met up with my friends and walked around for a bit. I didn't realize that all of the mini moshers had been queing since almost 12 in the afternoon, when the gig itself didn't start to seven.

I was already half drunk by this point, since you had to be over 18 to buy alcohol there and you couldn't take anything in :(

So when i arrived at the carling academy, the que was massive. So i walked to the end of it....but wait, that's not the end. Oh no, the cue continued down the stairs and wound all the way round Gala bingo. Just great. Luckily, one of the dudes i was going with had friends about half way through the que, so we kinda pushed in :P

The gig was supposed to start at 7, they didn't even start letting us in til 8, grr.

When we got in, me and my friends were somewhere around the middle of the crowd, but during the gig we got separated god knows how many times. The crowd was absolutely crazy, with the hysterical jumping and the mosh pits, my toes got stood on at least 20 times tonight, poor toesies :(

Also, because of all the manic jumping, absolutely everyone was sweating, and we were all packed together so the crowd stunk vile, and they were all touching me :( But then as if i didn't stink enough, my best friend no less, goes and spills half a pint of Carling on me. Sigh.

So at this point i just didn't give a damn. I jumped around like crazy frog and got battered and bruised in the mosh pits every time they sang a chorus, it was great :)

By the time we got out, my feet suddenly decided to start hurting like a female doggy, so i got weird stares as i walked to the bust stop in my black tights and pink ankle socks over the top, carrying my too small boots in may hand.

I walked all the way down my road like this, and got two wolf whistles from drunk men just coming out of pubs. I looked a right state, hair all messed up, clothes a mess from all the jumping and carrying my boots in my hand, so god knows what they must have been thinking.

All in all, the night was terrible, but also really amazing. I'm already looking up another band to go see :D

Today I bent the truth to be kind, and I have no regret, for I am far surer of what is kind than I am of what is true.
