More than a poem, this sounded like friendship day text messages put together.Sounds like some similar quotes selected from an Internet site.
What is not needed is use words like "true friend" and so much use of "you".Generally what works for these types of poems is often the detailed description of your personal experiences with your friend.List times when he/she helped you cope with some real tough problems or just was present for most of your celebrations.
There should be as possible use of the word "you" at the start of your lines.
