Welcome to YWS, Jess! It's great to have you here. There are two main things that I want to point to you before you get started, though, just to give you a little head's up. ^_^

Your stories/poems: When you post your work, we ask that you give a minimum of TWO critiques for everything that you post in the Literary forum. This will keep posting and reviewing in a 2:1 ratio. This is a new rule, so everyone's trying to get into this new little groove as well, but if you're confused about it, feel free to PM me or anyone else. ^_^

The chatroom: When you try to enter the chatroom, you will get a little notice that says you need at least 25 critiques before entering. When you DO make these critiques to get in, though, it is preferable that you write out a full critique. Not so much things like: "Wow! That was really good!" or "That was bad, but keep trying." Those aren't really helping anyone. ^_^ So, just as a head's up, that's the deal with the chatroom.
