My eight-year-old sister wanted me to post this for her, so here it is! She's incredible. :D

I saw you walking away from my window …
I was heartbroken.
I thought you were always there for me.
I’ll never see you again.
I wanted you to make my day.
You were making feel so good.
But you let me down.
I’ll never see you again.
I don’t know what to do now.
I was feeling great.
We were out in the pouring rain.
You left me out in the cold.
I’ll never see you again. I’ll never see you again.

Dear Fangala the Flying Feline,

I was honestly very surprised by that poem. I am not a poetry expert but I really like poems that include weather, especially rain. The use of but in the middle was really a good choice, as to me it somewhat represented a new side or the opposite side of the coin. The first part with "day" usually associated with the sun and happy times and then the latter half with the "pouring rain" and the use of the word "cold", it was all very good.

Best of wishes to you and your sister,

Wow, tell your sister she has talent. It is very rare that I see young people interested in writing anymore....they have all fallen for the gorey fun of video games. I'm not one to talk though...because I play video games to, but you catch my drift. Anyways, I'm getting off topic, tell your sister to keep it up, maybe even make her a YWS account. Just a suggestion.

Wow. Seriously.
I like anything written by younger kids.
This, I wouldn't think was written by a younger kid.
My sister, she's nine, she can't write. (HATES TO READ *chokes down tears*)
Last thing I read by her was about a thing named Poppit.
All in all, very disturbing.
But, this, was very nice.
A bit of a cliche, but hey, I admittedly love cliches.
Bravo little sister, bravo.

Thanks! She'll love to here this.

I know; isn't it sad how many kids hate to write...or do anything productive for that matter? Then again, we can't ALL by members of this awesome website. :D

This looks like a really bad episode of Green Acres.
