I thought you did a great job on your photos. I really liked the statue one.

A guess on what the first one picture is: A cat having a candy cane thrown at it?
Voldemort: You kids! If I ever find out who's calling I will tell the wizard law and you will go to wizard jail and then I'll kill you!

1: Mmm...not my favorite. It's not really that cool of a blur...though..

2: I LOVE this one! Parks ftw! Can you go back and get a view from the bench? with a little bench in it? :)

3: Statues are statues...unfortunately I'm not a history person, so I find it hard to love this one lol.

4: This one is great! But you know what would make it better? If it were a REAL flower. No...really. Take a fresh rose and fold it between some wax paper, find a really thick/heavy book, open it and stick the rose in there (yes, smash it) and leave it that way for like a year. You end up with a truly amazing preserved rose! :)

5: Haha, that's kind of cool! Witch tree...maybe it comes alive at night? :]

Anyway, overall they are pretty good. I love the park! :D

MadHatter: Your guess is incorrect
Via: Firstly, I took that picture back in the summer and haven't been there since but I'll take up your request and try next time. Secondly, sounds like a great idea, just have to find a rose first =]

Whenever I think of Ovid I imagine him spitting olive seeds at that stuffed wolf, so I'm not sure what my guess at to what that picture is would be XD

The one of the park is really pretty, the only problem that I have with it is that I immediately pick out the road sign in the background. such is the problems with parks in towns and cities I guess, but it's still very nice with all the colour ^^

And that tree really does look like a witchy hat! *dances about* It's all pointy and even has a little kink at the top. Thank you
please grant me my small wish; (love me to the marrow of my bones)

I really liked your second and third! :D They're so pretty. Though, I think the one with the book could have been a lot prettier had it been an actual flower. Just my own opinion.

Fantastic job, either way!

1st one: I'm afraid I have to agree with Via. It doesn't look like a purposeful error; it just looks like you hit the capture button on accident as you were going for a walk or as you were tracking a bird in flight or something like that...

2nd one: Excellent. It's stupendous for just a single-exposure shot. It provides a full spectrum or color without becoming distractingly busy.

3rd one: It's very dramatic-looking, jutting into the sky like that. It might have been a little better if you'd taken it from the sunny side so we could see the features. Of whom is it a statue?

4th one: This one had a yellowed tint to it. Is that a real pressed flower? Because it's very pretty. Just out of sheer curiosity, in what book did you press it?

5th one: A very quaint hemlock. I didn't see it so much as a witches hat as a cool tree. The bus in the background with the stoplight above it is interesting, but the shot might have been better if you'd waited for an empty spot in traffic. It's a little crooked too.

Very nice. Good job.

LTF: Can't eat olives without thinking of Ovid XD You're welcome!
Silly Sydstix: Via suggested the same too =]
scotty.knows: 1 — I had to crouch to take that picture and it was swan in a canal. 3 — It's Nelson! 4 — The 'flower' is actually a bookmark and, unfortunately, it's not real. The title of the photograph gives away the book: North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. 5 — That's the best position to take the picture, I could have climbed someone's wall but I don't want to get arrested.

Everyone you know the Witch's Hat tree? Well They cut it down a few years ago and now you can't see the treee anymore. So cherish the moment of the photo cos that's the only one you've got of the tree! It's in South london by the way
