Hello everyone, I joined earlier today.

Currently I am a free-lance illustrator and designer. However, my passion lies in writing. I am trying to shift my writing focus back to poetry, rather then short stories. (Specifically sonnets, English and Italian.)

Any tips or advice on sonnets, inspirations, and poetry in general, I am gratefully for. I'm currently in a writers block.

It's a pleasure to meet all of you. :)

Welcome Silicon. My name's Lupe and I guess I'm the first to welcome you here. It's nice to meet you too, I usually don't see a lot of sonnet writers here, or that might just be me. If you haven't seen it already we also have an art forum where you can post art and photography. i hope you like it here.

Welcome to the family,
Lupe

Hello there and welcome to YWS! You might want to have a word or two with Jasmine Hart if you see her around, she's very good at sonnets and very fond of them too. If you have questions or want a critique then feel free to pm me,

Ooh, that's so exciting! :D

I speak very, very little ("hello," "please," "thank you" and I used to be able to say "can I have chopsticks, please?" because I always dropped mine). I went there over the summer and it was awesome. I'm very jealous of you going there twice a year. I've only been once, but I want to go back so bad. Where in China do you go?

I went with a student group, so we went a bunch of places. Beijing, Chongqing, Qufu, Xi'an and Hohhot, in that order, if I remember correctly. :)
