Prologue

You may think Thieves and Murderous psycho’s are scary but think again, think back to the spooky fairy tails a relative has told you. Think back to the tales of Vampires, Werewolves and Demons, do you think they are m

Perchance an opening is required for said enjoyment?
Look, I've seen that you've had the same problem elsewhere, perhaps you should pm someone (even me), to get a hand properly submitting.
So you're going to kill a god. Sure. But what happens next?

Got YWS?

Yeah...umm, where is your opening exactly?
All I see is 'Hope you enjoy my opening'. If you only submitted that, then you should click 'Edit' and include your actual story.
So yeah, I see you are new to YWS! And the same age as me. That's cool - there are only a handful of other 12 year-olds. Anyways, please feel free to PM me if you have any questions!

Open the file on your computer. Highlight all the text you want to post on the site. Copy it (ctrl+c), come over to YWS, make a new post, paste it (ctrl+v) into the bit you'd normally write in. All done.

In other worse, rather than attaching the file, just copy and paste the actual words of the story into the same place you wrote 'Hope you enjoy my opening'.
I wrote the above just for you.

It's perfectly fine. Everyone has trouble with something at least once in their life. ;) Let's see what we can do, shall we?

To submit: There's a button at the top of the page that says 'Writing.' Roll the mouse over it, it should give you a drop-down window that has two options: 'Read & Review' and 'Submit Something.' You click on submit and it'll ask you where in the forums you want it to go, what it will be rated, and what it will be called. I'm guessing this isn't the part that has you stumped, though, otherwise we wouldn't be here. XD

Once you pick where it goes, what it's rated, yata yata yata, you generally copy and past the story into your first post to start the thread and type whatever else you want in the first post- for example, "Hope you enjoy my opening!", maybe with some extra info or an announcement about the next chapter at the bottom of the post, after your story.

After this, I would recommend hitting 'preview' to make sure you've got everything you want and all the typos are out. Then you just hit submit, and voila! Thy story is submitted!

Let me know if it works, or if there's something else the matter with these steps. Good luck! ;)

Edit: apparently some people are faster typers than me >.< *cough*sureal*cough* so you might not need this...but here it is anyway
