Feeling a little shy

Hi everyone. As you can guess I'm new here.

I've been online ffing for about 2 years ish. Started when I was 14 and just kept building on it. I have a fanfiction.net profile and have been on there for the duration of my 2 years writing.

I have a great feeling about this site, you guys all seem so great! So does anyone have any advice for me? Fanfiction.net is so differnet from this site as you get people of all ages and talents posting and I have experianced falme reviewing on there - so I like to think I can take any constructive critisim on here.

I wirte mainly Dr Who or C.S.I fics but have dabbled in a bit of Trochwood and Harry Potter. So my big question to everyone is - is there a market for my work here? Will it be appreciated?

If anyone could help me out I'd be very greatfull. Thank you!!

We have an entire form dedicated to fanfictions ^_^ you'll be read, just remember to do the two crits before you post your own story. Have you ever tried writing something of your own though? As in NOT a fanfic? I find those are a lot more fun.

Hi everyone!! Thanks for all your great messages!

In answer to your many questions - yes I have tried to wirte my own stuff but have never found anywhere to post it so hopefully I can get some feedback on here.

Also I did try to post one of my Dr Who's on here but it came up as a downloadable file - does anyone know how to change that?

I hope that you can find the time to check me out at some point in the future when I've got my stories sorted out.

You're sorta the same as me, I'm on fanfiction.net too, (although only for the past few months) but I didn't want to get bogged down in fan fiction and forget my original stories...
