Hi! I'm a writer with moderate exp. attempting an epic job!

Hello to everyone! I'm a Canadian from Toronto, Ontario, who's been writing since the age of 13....

...which brings me to the name of the post. Ever since I was that age I have been carefully putting together a fantasy epic, and now I'm putting all the novelettes and short stories together into one big, epic, sprawling novel of massive proportions!

...So, now I know that such things are hard.

Fortunately, I've just found this great site which should be helpful!

Well, that's me and that's what I'm doing, so I'd be happy to toss passages and ideas around (especially with anyone else into fantasy)!

I'm not much for fantasy, but welcome! I live close to Toronto. Right across the lake in Rochester, in fact.

Thank you to everyone who has responded thusfar! My name is T. Pesando, which hopefully will be the name on the book when it gets published! The title of the novel is Kazdrea: Dawn of the Dragon's Secret!

'Tis true, I am nigh the high end of what are currently considered 'young authors', but do remember I started when I was 13 years of age! Additionally, I created the Language of Dragonkind when I was 16. I would have published the first book when I was 18, but I treaded far too long the paths of research and editing....

...As a result, my only large press published work thusfar is the final article in an issue of The Knights of the Dinner Table; a humourous piece (as befits the content of such a magazine) on how spells thought worthless (even detrimental) could be of use under the correct conditions.

Still, considering that J.R.R. Tolkien took twelve years to construct the Lord of the Rings (and that was with the Hobbit to work with already), I'm not doing too badly! (Those who get to know me will learn that I appear to be in love with that smiley)

I am new to this site, so I am still looking for appropriate places to post bits of my work, and perhaps the artwork that various people are currently working on!
