Bliss

I just woke up early this morning
Feeling so refreshed and bubbly
That I did not notice that
It was only 6:30
Not my usual time of the day
But I'll manage, I'll manage

I just had my breakfast
2 Sunny Side-up Eggs
Complete with Ham and Cheese
And two pieces of bread
Squeezed in and pack together
Though it stained my clothes
And made a mess on my shirt
It's okay, it's alright, I'll manage

Oh, I need to know
Oh, I need to find
If this feeling would last forever
I believe it can, yes it will
Because it's supposed to
Forever

I can't explain this feeling
But I recognize this moment
The feeling I'm invincible
And that I could take on the world

I walked up through the door
I decided to leave my home
With a smile on my face
I can't explain it
I feel so alive and energetic
Like I'm in a sugar rush
But it's okay, I'll manage

I'm walking down the pavement now
Cars just keep passing me
So many people walking around
Minding their own business
Not that I mind
I feel so good, I feel so fine, I'll manage

Oh, I need to know
Oh, I need to find
If this feeling would last forever
I believe it can, yes it will
Because it's supposed to
Forever

I can't explain this feeling
But I recognize this moment
The feeling I'm invincible
And that I could take on the world

I just reached the gates of my school
With so many people roaming
I saw my teacher, Mr. Billy
The Terror Teacher
Yes, in his usual mood
But it's okay, I'll manage

This feeling's a trance
A sign from heaven
Or is it just in my mind?
Not that I care

Oh, I would really go and find
Oh, I would really go and find
If this feeling would last forever
Because it can, yes it will
It's supposed to last
Last forever
Forever

Good specifics in imagery. Starts off with the "I'm writing a song about whatever I happen to be thinking about.. and look over there there's something that could be shiney.. and sometimes I tie my shoelaces with double knots but do you think that looks to bunchy, I hate bunchy shoe laces, oh hey, I'm into the chorus, okay maybe not, I'll do another verse, because I'm being paid per minute and sometimes I like to use fabric softener, but not often" school of songwriting, which works for some, but get to your point quicker, it sounds very stream of consciousness, very improvisational, which, if you actually worked on it, makes it meaningless.

Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.
