First, there were those awful fires, which put my horribly behind in my coursework. Then, I got really sick. Really, I had been sick since October, but I finally wore myself out. I was down for the count for the last two weeks of Nov. Plus, I had work to go to and work for class. Then, my sister was in town for a week and a half. We moved my 104 year old grandmother into a new old folks home. So, I was running around doing that. As soon as my sister left, there was finals. I had three 8-10 page papers to write and four finals. I was working on no sleep and my brain was missing. I passed my classes which is a relief. So, winter break started yesterday, I am so excited. No more work, no more school.
God, I missed you all; I certainly didn't forget about y'all. I missed hanging out with you guys here at YWS. I feel so out of the loop, now.
But, on a brighter note. CAL PASSED HER YELLOW BELT EXAM FOR KARATE! I really do look stylish in my gi. I am kicking ass and taking names.
