Isn't it so funny how day by day nothing changes, but then when we look back everything's different? The situations we go through, the people who pass through our lives and more importantly the ones who stay. All the people who use you or hurt you, and the ones who are always there for you...especially when you need a shoulder to cry on.

It's just weird to stop and think about how your plans always seem to change and how you can be blinded at certain times and then amazingly and perfectly one day you realize just how stupid or nieve you were. It may never seem to make perfect sense why things happen the way the do...but it's important to realize that nine out of ten times it's probably for your own good anyway...and it can always be worse.

Bottom Line: You can't just sit on the sidelines of life and watch everyone else play...and no matter how bad some people hurt you or how devestating situations can be...being with your friends and having those split second happy moments that always linger in your mind as "remember whens" - those make it all worth it!

Not really a poem... just some thoughts. Nice thoughts, mind you, but it does not function at the level of poetry.

I agree. In fact, this sounds more like a blog post than anything else. Good idea for a poem, perhaps, but certainly not in poetic form as it is.

I don't care what the miserable excuse is for showing the death of books, live, on screen. Men, I could understand; but books! -
