Hi, my name is Mis - or Mischief if you want to do it the hard way. I stumbled upon this site and thought, I may as well join and see what it's like. Seems pretty cool.

I'm planning on starting to post and action and adventure fiction, but I'm not so sure yet. I like to go bowling and I like to just sit and read. I'm not really a loner... as such, I just prefer doing things my way.

Hmm, a little more about myself; well I like to write action and fantasy fiction novels and I think sometimes I like to do a little bit of poetry, but I mainly stick to the genres I enjoy, rather than that of which I have to force.

Authors? I like anyone, but I perhaps think that I like the likes of Stephen King and other horror fictionist; I have many different books by many different authors and for the life of me, I cannot remember a single one apart from Stephen himself.

I like to do lots of things in my spare time; I go out with friends and go bowling, I like swimming and I like sitting and watching Anime. I love to read the Manga books too, 'cause anyone who can draw like that deserves respect.

This, my dear, is the Buddy System.

The colored names are for different ranks (sort of) of YWSness... I don't know if that makes sense or not. For instance, there is a group of people called the Greeters. They have light blue names. Those people are encouraged to be particularly active in the Welcome forum and to be very friendly with new members. It's really just like different jobs that people can have (like Moderator, Instructor, etc). The colors are so that you can identify what job that person has. Here you can find our more about the ranks if you wish.

Thankyou for the welcomes everyone. I may have a look at the buddy system and maybe when I've got to grips with the site I'll consider applying for something or other.

Welcome to the site, I read a little bit of your first post, but I have to say I'm terrible and don't get along very well with the whole Action thaang. Nothing to do with your writing, just my personality.
