The mechs were back again.'How do they keep finding us?' wondered Slade. He was really starting to get Pissed off. And you don't want to get him mad, else, your pretty much doomed.

He lurched into the air scythe in hand.'Silly little mechs. I know your weakness.' he thought. There weakness was to attack swift, not with power. They were slow, but packed a punch if they hit you. When the lab rats had constructed him, they did the exact oppisite. Therefore, these robots moved like glaciers.

Saera watched the mechs get closer, destroying the plant life they trampled through. Saera gripped her staff tighter in her hands, her eyes blazing.
The mech-freaks had no respect for nature, and considering it was the source of all the druid's powers, the druids were one of the fractions that hated the machines the most.
Saera lifted her staff, and beckoned the plant life to grow, to fight back. Ivy wrapped around the mech's hydrolic legs, trees bent against them, birds attacked the sensors. Two of the oncoming mechs collasped, tangled in tough creepers. Still more came.
Saera span on her heel and ran into the camp, arousing all the war-mages she could find, and sending them to deal with the mechs.
"Saera!"
Saera turned, spotting the caller. It was one of the healers, looking tired and weary.
"Come!"
Saera cursed. So much for fighting the intruders up front.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Annie

I snarled. I circled high overhead, pausing my efforts to torch the machines. If I missed, I would do more harm than good.

Unless...

You may be strong, but I am still stronger! I roared, diving once more. But I wouldn't pull out this time; I would truly attack, truly dive upon an enemy, using my weight as a weapon.

Everyone! Stand clear! I shouted with my mind. I had not yet mastered tongue-speaking as a dragon; only as an elf could I speak with my mouth. Dragon approaching!

I landed, claws brandished and digging deep into the metal, with an earthshaking thud.

Several miles outside the battlefield, General Axel stood, arms folded. He wore his traditional battle garb – black combat jacket, tight pants, and tall boots. His personal insignia bled red across his undulating cape, and a small eye piece, microphone and speaker hung at his head. The eye piece flashed information to him in quick, two second intervals; the status of his troops were almost directly wired to his brain. Other pieces of technology, a countless number, remained hidden on his body, waiting activation.

"Units B-2 and B-2 down," the speaker buzzed.

"Unit H-3 down."

"Group B retreat and reform," Axel ordered calmly. "Groups I and K, cover them."

"Enemy dragon spotted. Advancing."

"Form a defense," Axel said. "Keep dragon location stationary until I arrive. H Group, focus on containing it."

"Roger."

A soft, red light spread around Axel's boots, and slowly he rose several feet in the air. With a small hum, the boots propelled him forward at a blinding pace. He deftly manuevered the foliage, never once slowing. He would reach his target soon. The village was tenacious, having survived several prior attacks, but not this time.

This time she would fall.

Profile: Tarragon
Race: Human
Alliance: Imagination (neutral)
Class: Runner
Gender: Male
Appearance: Nothing special. He tends to blend in with everything else. Generally you won't see him unless he wants you to.
Personality: Peaceful, Wise, and moderate. Very imaginative and creative, which give him aspects of both genres.
Bio: Working as a psychologist, he has been testing an experimental machine which allows him to dive into a patients imagination. He has found himself in the middle of a war between the competing genres. He is looking for a way to end the war between two genres and thus heal his patient and save his own life.

Powers: He is able to manipulate the imagination so that he can move and escape. This is easier to write than describe.

The painting was nice, a serene sunset by the ocean. Tarragon stepped into the painting and he found himself on a lovely shore.

So he is able to insert himself into various mediums and media seamlessly. This makes him very difficult to track or kill, simply because he moves in so erratic a pattern.

Weaknesses: Because this character has to be balanced, I've got these limitations added onto it.

1. He is unable to create anything or 'imagine' things into existence. He can only use what is all ready in the imagination.

2. He can not, under any circumstances, kill another character or even cause physical harm to another character.

Profile: Peragon (Call him Pera)
Race: human
Alliance: Tech
Class: Hacker
Gender: Male
Appearance: Very slender, a bit pale with short brown hair. About 5'10" and 150 lbs.
Personality: Calm and collected at all times. Very little can unsettle him. His calmness is often mistaken for cold and heartless.

Pera ran his fingers over he keyboard with powerful ease. Drawing up projections and possible targets after hacking into the sattelite. There were three major heat signatures in the forest, two of them moving out of the forest. One staying put. The village no doubt.

"General, I have three targets," Pera spoke with a dull tone, nearly sleep inducing, "What are your orders?"
"Maybe Senpai ate Yuka-tan's last bon-bon?"

Kele ran out of his home and to the center of the town barely getting out of a dragons way in time. He looked the machine over and ran to the highest building climbing up to the top so he could spot things he would need. He saw a huge bolder a ways off and smiled. He closed his eyes and opened them again, they were a bright white. He pulled the bolder towards himself. Lifting it up in the air. He had always practiced being able to do this. He yanked it faster and dropped it on the machine damaging most of it, but not all of the guns.

Annie

I ripped another machine apart, the metal flying everywhere. Each one had been controlled by a human of some sort.

So, they're operated by a real army? Which means, if I find the general, this is over. I screeched as something sharp collided with my shoulder, cutting into me. I lashed out with my tail, roaring my defiance, as three more machines moved in on me.

Or does the general know I'm here? I struggled to get free. I was weakening, having a near-useless foreleg, and they just kept coming.

Laesus!

Three of the machines collapsed, ripped apart.

Saera studied the medical tent with a sigh.
"You certian you need me here?"
"Yes, miss! We are overwhelmed!"
"Fine. But I'm just getting them back to stable. This is what I trained you people for."
The nurse bowed and stood out of her way. Moving in between the boides, Saera muttered a few verses, pressing her fingers to the patient's brows, pausing to administer poppy syrup to some, giving instructions and watching the re-attatchement of limbs. All the while she could hear the machines getting closer, and the fighting getting more desperate.
"Enough of this."
"Excuse me, miss?" A nurse sponging down a man with a fever looked up, confused.
"After this, I am sick of hiding and defending. I will propose an attack."
"Yes miss. Let us just hope there is an after to plan for."

(I hope this isn't considered god modding.)

"I don't think so."

A loud roaring sound came from the distance, getting louder and louder after each passing moment. Annie only had a second to look at what was making the sound to see a missile heading toward her. She folded her wings to shield herself against the attack. The missile exploded on contact and almost threw her out of the sky.

A rusty red mech had appear. No one had noticed its arrival until now.

"HK-47, reporting in."

The druid Saera used her magic to entangle the machine with trees and ivy. A sword of pure energy shot out of the mech's arm, slicing any plant life that got in its way. Some of the ivy had reached its legs, but the boosters on the machine's legs flared to life and burned them away.

The mech spotted the druid and turned to aim its giant machine gun at her. Saera jumped out of the way in time to avoid the rapid spray of bullets that tore the trees and ground to shreds.

Slade's battle cry echoed through the forest as he rushed the mechanical menace with inhuman speed. He lifted his scythe to pierce through the mech's chest where the pilot resided. The machine's rear boosters blared as the mech lurched to the side at a speed that surprised even Slade.

The mech slammed the side of its large gun into the birdman's back. The force of the attack threw the creature into the side of a nearby tree.

The rusty red mech turned to face the village. "Target acquired." The machine's chest opened to reveal a full two rounds of missiles. Its intended target was the village...
