My packet of things for Kenya just came in the mail today!!!

Too bad I won't beable to see it until Friday, since it went to my home.

Now I'll know what to pack! And maybe it'll tell me what I shouldn't bring, and how often I'll get a bucket to do my laundry in...haha. No, seriously.

Anyone want to join me to Kenya? It's not for that long, right? Nah. Unless I love it more than I think I will and I stay longer. In which case, you are welcome to leave after a month or so, and I will not hold it against you

OH my gosh! I PMed her! That's so exciting! I was reading through her blog and I'm pretty sure she went with the same group I am going with, which is amazing! I want to know all about it from someone first hand, which I can't find usually because it's a UK company and I'm in the US so like 99.9% of the people who go are in the UK! Ah! Exciting!

Is it a mission trip or something? My friend went to Zambia about two years ago, she worked in some orphanages for like a month.

It's not really a mission trip, but we are helping out in the community while we are there. It's kind of 50% helping and 50% touristy things, I suppose. It's not religious or anything.

It's a group of 25 people but I don't know anyone else. They are all from UK, too, and I am not.

We are going to Muhaka and Makongeni and there abouts, flying into Mombasa...we're mostly be I think 1-2 hours away from Mombasa.
