months went by
and i was sure you were the one
that our love wasn't imaginery
not imaginery...
I think that having two ways to say "not imaginary" is awkward; maybe repeat in the same way it originated?
[qutoe]i wanted you to know how i felt
but then something went wrong
i never knew you were with someone else
so now i know how love hurts [/quote]
This doesn't seem so much to translate into how love hurts. I don't see how "something went wrong" and "you were with someone else" explains how love hurts any. But maybe it's just the wording.
I can't really imagine how this would be sung, what it would sound like. The lines sometimes just seem too long. Though maybe punctuation would help with that, telling where to breath and where to pause, and such (along the same lines, you really should capitalize the pronoun "I"). I also don't see how their love isn't imaginary/ is real? Since in the fourth stanza, he cheats on her (to generalize genders). So wouldn't that make their "love" imaginary? Are you sure you know what you're trying to say?
