Basically, every 6 days you need another 10,000.

That's how I measure it.

Like the Saint Razorblade stated it 10,000 every six days.

What I do is 10,000 a week.

NaNoWriMo, I go!!!

I'm going to aim for 2000 words a day which would give me up to five days off should I need them. Of course, I'll probably do some deviating and write less one day and more the next to make up for it but with a bit of luck I'll reach 50,000 with a day or two to spare =)

Just puts into perspective how slowly i write because i generally get about 250 words done a day.

I feel like I write really slow now too. I don't usually measure the number of words, though. I'm interested to see if I can actually finish the NaNo!! I really hope soo!

Eek! I have a retreat for the first three days!

Thankfully, I have a day off after that, so I can make up for them.

Horray for teacher work days!

I want to write lots of stuff. Go me!

Think I'll aim for 2000 a day as well...that's what I did last time...though last time I didn't write 50,000 in the month...but that's because I'd written some before the month and my story just ended...

I'm already thinking like I always wind up doing....Vague ideas are starting to form. Should be ready to go by the strike of midnight on Nov 1!

And I'll be sure not to let my birthday on Nov 5 interfere..."No, I don't want to open presents right now, I'm trying to stay ahead of schedule for this story!"

and then keep going randomly.

I more or less go with the flow rather than aim at a certain amount - forcing stuff from me ends in jumbled messes. hahaha

Hmm... I just hit 22k.

Do we have to have the book FINISHED? Or just at 50k?

This may be a big book... fantasy tho... lol
