“Your mine!” screamed Aro as he playfully snapped at the clumsy butterfly fluttering closely overhead. “You call that skill? I could catch that butterfly blindfolded with one paw behind my back!” Not breaking his concentration, Aro smirked and replied “You couldn’t catch a dead rat lying right in front of your nose Dremlei.” Dremlei frowned and walked in front of him. “Wanna bet?” She asked with a sly grin. Aro stepped back “It’s all yours. You have one minute” Dremlei took his place and stared at the monarch now resting peacefully on a flower. “No problem” She slowly crept forward and lowered her head, watching it carefully. Then, she leapt forward and snatched it up gently in her teeth. Aro growled. “Fine you win” Dremlei gave a triumphant snort and opened her mouth to set the creature free.
Dremlei trotted back to the others who were still sleeping with a huge smile on her face. Just as she was about to lie down, Aro leapt unexpectedly and shoved Dremlei in the left shoulder. Dremlei felt her self fly off her feet and land with a cold splash in the murky pond. Aro started laughing uncontrollably. Then before he knew it he was shoved into the pond as well. Now it was Dremlei’s turn to laugh. “Serves you right! Thanks Garyn!” “No problem!” replied the shaggy grey wolf. Aro and Dremlei jumped out of the pond, and shook off their fur. Another wolf walked towards them. “Could you guys have been any louder?” Talin stretched and walked over to the other three. His white fur was partially dirty because he was sleeping on his side In a pile of mud. “Apparently we weren’t loud enough. Lowe is still sleeping”. Dremlei, Aro, Garyn and Talin all walked up to the smallest black wolf of them all. “Let’s throw him in the pond.” Whispered Aro. “I got a better idea.” Said Talin. He ran to the pond and filled his mouth with water. The others quickly caught on and followed his lead. Then, when they all had mouths full of water the spat it all out in his face. Lowe immediately jumped to his feet and shook all the water off. The other four laughed jokingly. “Gross! What was that for?!” He complained. “For being the last one to wake up!” Aro laughed. Lowe sighed. “Now that I’m up, what exactly are we doing?” They all looked at Dremlei. She was the Alpha of the pack. “I don’t think there is anything in particular. What do you guys want to do?” Talin spoke first. “I think we should raid that new town that opened last week and scare all those little children.” Aro laughed “Sounds like fun!” Garyn shook his head “Yea. If you’re a suicidal”
Suddenly there was a loud bang, then a deafening buzzing noise. “What is that?!” Screamed Talin over the loud noise. “I don’t know. I’ll go check! Everyone else stay here!”
Dremlei dashed off into the woods leaving the rest of the pack behind.
