Hi!

Well, if you plan on getting something published, you'd better not post it on here. Personally, I wouldn't steal it and I don't know anyone n here who would, but better safe than sorry, right?

I've been looking round this site for a few days and decided to join 'cause it looks kinda fun.

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid you have that bit wrong. It isn't "kinda fun" it's SUPER DOOPER FUN! :D

Anyway, welcome!

Hello Rosequartz (lovely name by the way) and welcome to YWS!!

I wouldn't worry too much about copyright round here- I don't think we've ever had any problems with people stealing each others work. If you want any more info on it though, then contact a mod or administrator.

If you have any other questions, or need help, or a crit......or anything really, then just send me a pm and I'll be happy to help you out!

All the best with your work and I hope you like it here.

See ya,

For Authors, copyright takes effect when you write it down. As long as you can prove you wrote it before the other person who stole it you're good. I sent a copy of my novel to myself in the main and neveropened it. That way if the problem ever arouse I could prove I wrote it first by the post mark date.

It's fine either way, Enjoy YWS and just PM us if you have any questions.

akdsjfh you know that feeling where you start writing a scene but then you get bored with the scene so you move on and start writing a different scene and then you get bored with that scene so you move on to an entirely different WIP and then you get bored with that so you move on-
