I have recently become aware that I love all things pop art, so last year I started painting. I was first inspired by the work of Roy Lichtenstein, so I started making master copies of his work. This is my first original painting that I just finished last weekend!

I like this! The art stylings are odd to me, because I haven't seen much of pop art, but it's still pretty neat.
I think that if you gave this a more interesting caption, that would be neat. I mean, it's fine without it, but it makes for an artsy touch to have a nice, obscure name.
Oh Wow, did you use the camera from the Purr? That picture is really nice quality. I've seen it in person and looks just as coolio on here. Smaller for sure.

This is really good! I think the nose could be a little better but the eyes are beautiful and the hair is very well drawn. The bottom eyelashes on the left eye seem a touch long but in general, I love it. Excellent work.
That's fantastic! I love her eyes and the lashes. Is this inspired by someone else's work?

Yes all my paintings are inspired by Roy Lichtensteins work. Lichtenstein only used comic book pictures and painted them on large canvases. I found that picture in a old comic book and then painted it on canvas. These are some master copies of Roy Lichtensteins work that I painted.
I like the coloured versions a lot but I think they're less detailed than the first. The bottom one is full of emotion though and I love how bold all your colours are. What size canvas are these on?
