Hey!

Hello everyone

A friend of mine found this place on one of the NaNo (NaNoWrMo) sites she was browsing, and thus passed the link along to me. This place looked cool enough, so I thought, why not?

Anyway, my name is Sam or Twilight... whichever, and I'm an 18 year old college student. The only thing I know for sure right now is that I love to write more than anything in the world (and have been doing so since I was four or five!). Offically I'm a Communications major with an emphasis in Journalism, and an English minor, but I'm currently working on my portfolio and my experience in the literary world.

Besides writing (Erm... there is a life besides writing? Weird!) I enjoy reading, role playing, music, computer graphics, photography, and web design. I'm a born and raised New Yorker who somehow managed to get lost out west (currently in Idaho but with plans on moving to Utah asap), and have a cat fetish. XD

But yes, I think that's about it.

...Oh and I apologize for my lack of spelling skills/my horrible grammar. It's my weak spot which I am so diligently trying to remedy. But at least my character and plot skills are good. Kinda makes up for it.

Welcome to the site! Out of curiosity, are you going to participate in NaNoWriMo this year? It's only a month and a half away, yikes!

I'm trying to think... I think we have another Twilight on the forums (not sure), and we have about a million Sams (I should know -- I'm one of them!) so we might have to come up with a new nickname for you. Never fear! We have tons of fun with that.

Communications/English, eh? Very nice. I may be changing my major soon. I'm starting off as a physics major, but zoning out in all my required classes, and I desperately miss English! We'll see.

To make this shorter, I love all your interests, too. Hopefully we'll get to see some of your photography in addition to your writing, yes? Oh, and your spelling/grammar seems fine to me. Keep up the great work!

Ah, I love cats. I have a cat called Gizmo (as in the gremlin..) but he's a lazy lump and I loose interest in him very quickly....I love him really.

Yes, I am actually. My first time... I'm looking forward to it and already have ideas. XD

Play by post. I'm more into para-playing (in case anyone doesn't know, it's when you write anywhere from two paragraphs to a page, and then the next person does.. ect...) these days... it helps with my writing and makes me think!

Oooh. I never got into that, because I don't like people writing my characters.

You might want to check out the "Storybooks" section of the Literary forums, I think you'd like them.

Eep, yeah I agree. I sort of have slight nervous breakdowns when people touch my babies... erm, I mean, my characters. No, usually my rping partner has their own characters and I have mine.
