An interesting story, my friend. You have some great action here, some lovely descriptions and generally a well paced, well written, enjoyable piece of writing. Perhaps just a touch too much swearing though? It can be very effective in small doses but I think you over-used it a little. Other than that, well done and here are a few minor suggestions -

He stretched, arching his back with arms out-reached as far as they could go, legs and feet convulsing.

Said the man to [s]him self[/s] himself, yawning again.

Stated the man to himself, then curled up into a more comfortable position and promptly [s]feel[/s] fell asleep.

Lightning struck directly in his front lawn, illuminating everything with blinding light. [This is a little awkward. Perhaps 'Everything was illuminated with blinding light as a bolt of lightening struck the lawn.']

“Holy shit.” Whispered the man to [s]him self[/s] himself. He had to tiptoe around shards of glass to get to where the windows used to be.

If [s]your[/s] you're Jordan and don’t reveal yourself now I will sock you in the face, then I will beat you with soap in a sock.

“The fucking power is out too?

Another laugh echoed [s]through out[/s] throughout the house. The man dived from the light switch into the dining room where the [s]moon light[/s] moonlight was strongest.

‘I'd much rather have had a flashlight’.

Two pairs had already been brushed off to the side due to the swinging arch when the door opens.

A quick run-threw [Perhaps 'run-through'?] of the garage proved no one was there

A big trampoline was off to the right not quite under a cherry tree, an old washer and dryer was rusting away by the gate and the neighbor's Rottweiler started barking.

The glow of the [s]flair[/s] flare was no longer red but green.

He switched them all back on.

He turned and ran down the hallway back to the kitchen where he thought the sound had originated, turned the corner and came crashing into what could only be described as a humanoid encased in green flame.

With that it reached out and took the human's face in its hand and clenched.

Overall, good start and I look forward to reading more. You characters are well developed and the plot line is intriguing. Good work.

Everything you mentioned I fixed.

I might edit some cursing out. Thanks! :)
