So, I'm still really pissed from this weekends' game. I'm sure all you England fans are all happy and singing your STUPID "Enger-land" song. :evil:

I can't belive the results of this weekends match. 3-NIL. 3-FECKIN-NIL. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE WITH STEVE MCLAREN?!

For those of you who have no clue what I'm talking about, I'm talking about this weekends U-21 EuroCup 2008 qualifier match between England and Israel in Tel-Aviv. Israel was favored (favoured) to win, yet threw it down the tubes and LOST 3-0.

The only silver lining is that because this is also an Olympics 2008 qualifier, if England gets in the top 4 spots, the two other third place teams (one from each group) will have a playoff for 4th place. So Israel really only has to beat half the teams in the running. And since Portugal drew with Belgium, things are at least looking good at this front.

BUT IM STILL FUMING, ENGER-LAND!!!! :twisted:

Ooh, we won? I didn't even know we were playing. Still, it's always nice to see a win. I don't know whether to go all football hooligan-ish and smash the comuter sreen in out of joy, or just continue writing in lack of caring...

I think I'd rather not pay out the bill for a new PC :wink:

Aw, just kidding. I was surprised by the nature of victory to be honest, not really happened under Mclaren so far. Benayoun was disappointing (and I'm a Liverpool fan) and you didn't really push and pressure us at all. I didn't think we played that well, but Israel played even worse. Still, we have to beat Russia on Wednesday or the victory will count for little.

The match was just on the whole terribly embarrassing. It was not our greatest example of Israeli football. Benayoun was embarrassing, Toto Tamuz wasn't pulling his weight, etc.
