Would you buy a YWS stuffed monkey? It would be about 12 inches high, five inches wide, and have a t-shirt with "Young Writers Society" in plain black lettering. Each one would sell for $25. The monkey itself would be brown with a white face, white hands, and white feet.

A couple of people have actually brought it up, but in order to do it, I have to put in an order for 50. Unless I can twenty commitments from people to buy one, then it can't happen.

So, are you interested? A picture of what it would look like (without the shirt or logo) is below.

Twenty-five bucks plus whatever shipping will cost is pretty spendy...

Maybe.

OH YES!

I would buy one and hug it and abuse it and eventually buy another when that one died! xD

I'm all over this idea.

I dunno... I'd like to, but I'm not exactly rolling in cash at the moment, and I'm estimating $25 = £12.50 roughly, and then add to that the cost to get it all the way over here. I'll have to wait and see. Is there a deadline for when we have to say yes or no?

I'm the same about cash as Kazsmurf. If there's no deadline for it I might eventually get to get it, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

I'd love it heaps, but it's so expensive!

Ditto with money issues :( Though I get paid in about two weeks, I might buy one after that...it does seem a wee bit expensive though, so I don't really know.

Maybe if I wasn't so broke. =D
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Dr. Seuss

Don't aim at success--the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side-effect of one's dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one's surrender to a person other than oneself.
— Viktor E. Frankl
