I didn't know a place like this existed.

Well, I'm a 14 year old computer nerd that has always loved writing short fantasy stories and poetry. Finding out a place like this is on the internet at 1 AM is a great feeling. I really look forward to writing some short stories and getting inspired by others here.

i know what you mean, i just randomly found this site from fictionpress-i was about to review someones story and i saw a lot of critics and then at the bottom they said they were from 'the young writers society' and i went on the website and yeah....hopefully this website will improve my writting...

so i'm sara and i'm about 15 and a half (turning 16 in nov) I hope to write a book one day and right now I'm working on a short-vampire story!

I was so glad to stumble upon this site as well. It's really difficult to find sites like this, there aren't many of them. I wish I had known about it as long as I had known about sites like Writers' Window and FictionPress - I get so much more feedback here, it's amazing.

YWS is great. Surfing the internet at 1am is also great. Fantasy novels and poetry are good, too.

I found out through a mate, who's work I was critting. So, I wrote a random paragraph to make a point, and she directed me here...
